In other words, do you go all out and decorate and love Halloween theming? Me not so much. Of course, when my kids were little we did all the Halloween traditions from carving pumpkins, trick or treating, parties, etc..

I have friends who are obsessed with this holiday and spend all month decorating for it and planning all their activities around it, etc. They love it.

What about you?

No. We don't celebrate Halloween. I've got some nice Thanksgiving/harvest themed decor set up out front, which might, at a glance, look like it, though. If we are home, I'll have a bag of some kind of treats on hand, just in case the doorbell rings but in 8 years at our current place, it never has.

I love Halloween, but not b/c of the "scary" events, but b/c it's the one time a year communities come together and throw wonderful outdoor events of all types and support families of all ages and just have a lot of fun together.

It's becoming one of my favorite times of year...

We're not really into it. We will take our 4 year old trick-or-treating, but we don't decorate or anything like that.

I loved it when I was younger(even into young adult age) I used to dress up and go to different parties with multiple costumes etc, my daughter(22) still loves it and dresses up every year. My son(10) was way more into it when he was younger-he still dresses up, but it's more about the candy and family time(we trick or treat with his cousins). He loves Halloween movies though. I don't decorate for "Halloween", more for Fall in general.

Not really. I have zero Halloween decorations up. (I have a fall themed welcome mat and changed the wreath on my front door to fall colors.) We will pass out candy in the neighborhood costume walk Sunday afternoon. That's it.

We put up a cardboard skeleton by the front door, a carved pumpkin, and I have my 'Sounds of the Haunted Manson" CD playing in the garage for Halloween. But that's it. We've been in our house 39 years, and we used to have 100+ kids. I don't think we have had more than a dozen in the last 15-20 years so just not worth the effort.

Since COVID have not done anything but goal is next year bring it back! I call it high holiday and it's a favorite for me. For about a decade I built a Haunted House, full 2.5 garage plus several big tents up driveway. About 9 rooms with a facade. Speakers with scary sounds and music. I own about 12 strobe lights and 4 blacklights. We'd host a big party for neighbors and friends (about 125 people) with dinner included to raise money for UNICEF (I collected when I was little so stuck with me). Shifted to a more private party inside but still did the outside decor. Drove our ToT visitors from a few from our 25 houses to about 200-300 each year. Folks would drive over for weeks to take photos.

Gave lots of the HH stuff to a friend who was just beginning his scary adventure but I still put up the cemetery and more in yard, lots of lighting, smoke machine ... I have monsters that stand built in the attic (once freaked out an electrician). I decorate inside and out. I dress up, full makeup.

We were unique in our day but now everyone is in to Halloween. I've been in to horror movies etc since I was VERY young, 5 or 6. By teens I was going to the big Haunted Houses built each year in a decrepit building. They can't scare me, I'm too busy looking at how they did things trying to get ideas. If you are in ATL Netherworld is INCREDIBLE!! 💀

No, not really. I don't decorate for it and we don't get trick or treaters.
Funny conversation in the lunch room today, one of the ladies in there said "oh no, it's supposed to rain on Monday" to which I (kids in 20's) and another younger lady (no kids) both asked her if she had something outside going on that day that was weather dependent. She kinda screeched back at us "WELL I HAVE A KID THAT TRICK OR TREATS!" I thought to myself, chill out! While we are all aware it's Halloween time, excuse us for not realizing right away it's Monday night....
