first thing to do is check your spam folder or junk folder for an email from the DIS ....

If it isnt' there than post here and we will try to get it figured out

Hi Kayla, most of us on Thread Killers are not getting our instant notifications?? I don't know about PM's, I hope that works. Here's one that maybe you can help with. When I first registered I put my email address in the part that says if your under 13 you must put your parents email address. Anyway, when I went to post it told me I need my parents permission. I emailed wdwsupport and explained what happened and that I can verify that I am indeed over 13. I did receive back a reply that told me everything is taken care of and how to proceed so I may post. That all went fine, but it came to my attention, when I couldn't put siggie's (ie you've been gobbled, etc) that when I checked my profile a message comes up that says if you are over 13 and seeing this message click here (administrator) to contact. I have done this and sent them a email and just keep getting a auto generated response that my if my problem is this>>> send to>>>> if that, send to>>>>. So, it seems I am listed as under 13 (oh the easy life), which would explain why it says I can't upload gif's etc. I am not a computer techno wiz, so this is just one more little complication. Any help with this I would appreciate. So maybe, by the time they get this upgrade all straightened out I could be a over 13 poster.

The instant notification by email problem is because the server switch is still ongoing and they are still working on some of the features. We need to be patient and let them get everything worked out. There are still certain features that are not switched over or functioning but will be soon.

NEVERENOUGHWDW--PM's should be working just fine. Have you tried going into your User CP and check to make sure that somehow that feature didn't get turned off for you? There is an option to not be able to send and receive PM's and I am wondering if somehow that got changed in your settings.


Disney54us--not sure I understand why you are having problems? You have siggy pictures? No one is allowed to upload .gif files--if you are going by what it says at the bottom of the screen. All you do is just add them by using the Image posting icon at the top of the posting box--the yellow box with the mountain. It doesn't have anything to do with age, heck, if you go to the teen board they have more stuff in their siggys than most of us!
