I really, really want to. However, I just cancelled HBO last month because we never watched it. Guess I'll have to be patient and wait for it to start coming out on DVD!
(It does look intriguing!)
Yes -- interested to see what HBO does with the topic. I grew up in Salt Lake City. We had polygamists living on our corner. I moved away from Utha years ago. Polygamy was one reason why. I hope the HBO series is more entertaining than the real thing -- which is not very entertaining and most definitely not funny.
We very rarely watch movies. We have HBO and Showtime solely for the original series, and wouldn't miss any of them. They're, by far, the best television on television.
I'm looking forward to it. I love Bill and I'm looking forward to seeing how he does on the small screen. HBO does have some really good original programing and lots of it is very thought provoking.
I plan to watch too. Not because I support the topic of the show but more so because my friends kids are in it. Two of them plan Cloe S (sp) son and her other is a stand in for one of the other families. They filmed the series a while ago and it is finally coming out. It should do well with the stars in it plus all the publicity hype too. She said it is a unique show and not somehting her 5 year olds would be allowed to watch. There were some scenes she had to have rewritten or where the boys were in because of moral issues but other than that it is supposed to be good.
