:confused3 ....us too! and it seem some may have crossed paths. before
begining i think it will help if i provide some background [or maybe not].
sometimes my thinking run all over the place like marbles on the floor. that's
because i have many "irons in the fire"...so if something dosen't make sense
just ask...my wife. speaking of, she does all the planning and organizing. no
matter what mishaps unfolds, we always end up with some wonderful &
world of disney memories. the credit belongs to her while the mishaps were
mostly caused by me... not paying attention. oh by the way~ since iam
irish ..."happy St. Patrick Day"! you do know mickey is a real leperchaun?
i sure noticed he likes the green stuff! "oh boy" , i can hear in the distance.
enough! while iam experienced on going, i 've never done something like this.
and oh boy! it does seem really strange presenting our family to outsiders.
[how do i know yo're normal? or worst vice versa?] to me, it feels like one
of those headliners from what i call the "dirt magazines". [ which my wife loves to read.] sure hope no one takes any close ups pic if we come across each other in the parks. wouldn't that be awful seeing a big red circle around my ...hiney? how do those thinks to focus in on such things. heathenism what that is, for sure! but is it true celebrites don't have to stand in lines?
hmmm, with that perk...sign me up. i mean don't it count if you know someone, that claims to know someone? i'm sure i related to someone making
the news somewhere. or does it count i look a lil'grumpy? enough already!
maybe this is a good time to mention that everything must be approve...
which is a dead give away i've been married~too long. ahhh even with her
many/strike that..i meant few faults, i love her to death [mine]. the reason
i decided to do this is it seem like everyone having fun and i get to brag
on my family. i've must also confess that i "crashed" a few other reports. i
feel bad if i scared any previous readers...so doing this will provide them
with the opportunity to return the favor. [ at least i hope they do because
i had alot fun reading their wonderful adventures.] enough again! by the
way did i mentioned "happy green /beer day"? it's the happiest time of the
year. i hoping apple wine coolers count? i suredon't want to be nessing up
our family traditions. :stir: . great, the formalities arefinally out of the way.
don't you wish you could do the same with the "times" between trips? ok,
the intro's : again please bear with me as it should be self evident that
iam a slowwww poke. ok honey, and a lil'grumpy. ther's isn't any format
for two reasons. #1..i hate dressing formals and #2...it's really true. i've
no experience @ trip reporting. enough! we are a family [do you become
one when you're married or when the kids come?] of five. my wife really did
take advantage om but that's another sad story. yep she left the room...
and you knowwhat they say when the cat away\/\/\/\...iam the old master
[ok , my preception] to the youngest being the pup. however, something
very magical happens every time we passed under the [ what my kids calls]
"magic arches" or mickey's rainbow. it takes us into a time warp where
everyone [you included!] into a 10 y/o except the pup~always the princess.
yes-it really does happen if you believe....in something called pixie dust.
[think sneezes]. be careful, as it is pretty strong magic...see it's been since
october and it still hasn't worn off [me]. and you can't imagine the looks
iamgetting at work. actuall if there's an antedote, it should be destroy before
the evil queen find it. no dear, iam not making a sneaky reference to you.
did i tell you today , you're cute asthe dickens! any way it's has become
somewhat familt tradition that when we passed under to pinch each other.
ouch! since i always driving guess who get theworst of it? pinching sorta
an irish tradition--something you did'nt know? what does it proves? yep
we're all on disney property. [ here's a secret, i'm bringing me a squirt gun
forour next trip]. but it is always a good memory because not enough time
for anyone to rain on your parade. enough for now! but i 'll [might] be back!

Are you quoting Jimi Hendrix Lil' Grumpy?????

Oh... for the LOVE OF GOD... I see YOU'RE Irish too?! Squeak, squeak... Mel.

Not I. :confused3
I got lost and tried to skim gave up and just read all the replies :teeth:

Hmmm

I did, and he didn't loose me like I think he wanted readers to. Just a suggestions, put some paragraphs in, and don't hit the return button so much.

LOL

I did the same thing.

time in...alot of you are very ...experienced. yes there are technical diffculties. i think our keyboard is possessed. mosy from a few disboarders?
gods that i offended in earlier posts?? [ wondering what kind of offering/s
they would take?] however, know this....because we are within 10 /blessed
years of retirement [stupid keyboard made me rewrite that 3 times..so you
understand], we are shopping for a second home. this old delipated/sp, system must surfice. i.e. yesterday it would not do paragraphs and i
sure didn't have time to reset...and how it looked on the "pad" didn't transfered exactly...so sorry. i also run a community project for children
that will be begining pretty soon. it involves all the local veterans groups
and alot of money so i must give it priority. [sorry].
#1. i guess iam doing this to have fun by reliving some disney memories.
[oh,they're coming]. the background info is optional in explaining our family dymanics. in order for you to "get it" ...the disney parts. and some
are indeed random references but tells how i feel. [in general].

#2 [hey that work today]....i'll told you i am not expereiced in trip writing
and maybe this isn't the best format because of the technical problems.
however, this is me and to be accurate it must be included. but i'll try
to clean it up so the errors are reduced and used more structure. p.s.
i am just "winging it". there's going to be mistakes...so those with trashing
on their minds, please pick it up and move on.

#3. 1000hh// :teeth: /you're :hippie: et :cool2:

#4. i.w. are you realted to zachnlucy? :teeth

#5. cin & mom -- :thumbsup2 and my best :bounce: irish wish.

#6. mamacat..for some strange reason i feel you're a mamacassfan?
:teacher:

#6. omari.. thanks, this is harder than i thought. hey i been reading
all your reports for tips.

enough if iam going to include a lil disney but really, thanks. just started and already i forgot something...prior to oct.1, we just got off the magic [ship-
don't want anyone getting the wrong idea or something]. i am mentioning
this because i like to share something that the kids were doing on the bus.
first set the tone..after a week of cruising everyone is totatlly wiped out.
but as soon as the bus turned the last corner, goofy can be seen on the back of the ship. it seem like all the kids are watching him paint as they're still
hanging on. it is very quiet until one or two start whispering [loud enough
everyone can hear], "goodbye mickey, bye goofy, bye donald. as soon as one
finished, another begins until we finally over the last hill. whenever , you
go on a cruise, i hope you get to "experience" this. we've done 5 and it
seem to happened every time. time out..sorry, iam late for the teaparty
..that'swork and it's really

Hey Grumpy, I'm sorry I've offended you. At the beginning, I thought you we're just messing around. I'll be good for now on, I promise. And it sounds like you have a really nice family. Rock on!

We are all different, so continue please. I take it you did a cruise, but you put the word bus in the same sentence, so I got a little thrown off. Thanks for continuing.

Hi Lil'Grumpy. Welcome to the DIS!

I'm a bit confused by your posts here. Did you actually take a trip to Disney? It's hard to tell. I'm just wondering because this is the trip report board, and all.

Karen

did we take at trip? yes. what in the world made you ask?

...sorry for the mistakes..maybe i should've explained...i am new at this.
and while we do mostly cruises, we always spend time in the parks. now
we are in the middle as our upcoming, the 11 day wonder. however,
i can't express how much i 've enjoyed these trip reports compare to the
cruises [which seem to follow the same pattern]. furthermore, it is the
interacting after each section that i think are really special /educational.
make no mistake--we are a "real" family. our vaction are determined by
the community project that i started..so we have to go in the fall and
before christmas. thus we have been involve with thehurricanes since
sept.,99. the trip i am talking about happened last week of sept. [cruise]
and then a week at cornado springs. some details may not be prefect--
as it is very, very true that my wife has been the organizer of all our previous trips. the main purpose of me doing these boards is so i can learn to
help her. i could be wrong but here what i've noticed bout these boards...
mostly women and the guys seem to be older especially on the cruise
boards. the majority with children so there's a focus on children. so i read
with great interest when the couple wrote separate trip reports. i've
also seen alot of "attacks" and some asking very rude questions- buffets/pigs?
i gave it some real consideration before trying a trip report...i see what others are focusing on, i know my prespectatives are/were different. but let
me make this clear, none ofthe references were made up....i.e. truly sadden
that the old dick/jane readers were replaced. i made fun of it [by the way
there was a dick's bar in texas] because the values of society forgets the importance of the family. to me, it was shocking how many can't get their
spouses into their vacation...even in my early 20's i realized kids would not
raised themselves..to be sucessful adults. you think i've expressed too much?
..you have no idea the "real" stories i can tell..as i was lucky enough to have
had a dyanmic family. disney bread and butter is the family...not the other
way around. i think the #1 objective of disny sites should be how families
can best use disny for their vacations. i think reports reflecting variety are
very important and should be tolerated! besides talking about our last trip, there were some firsts that i had planned on presenting...some involved
some stressful situations that coould have disrupted our "parade". that's
is why it's important to give a glimpse on my feelings so you're understand
why i made thechoices i did....[i know this is confusing because i haven't
told ths incidents.] why? i think it is important for those experienced to
do more than complained/but to take actions..which i did. ok.. it
obvious i'm not great at computer skills and mycomputer is a piece of junk.
but i wanted to set this message why i beleive most of the magic comes from
people. and from seeing what is being expressed here, alot of your readers
could help many "rookies" when they see others trying to take advantage.
however, i am more alarmed by most chosening to complain instead of
help..i.e. people crowding for parades..ever think some just doesn't realized?we didn't at one time..and we were so fortunate that 2 castmembers [on their
honeymoon] allowed us to squeeze in. some of my most favorites memories
camefrom the kindness of others. sorry , i don't mean to lecture but i feel strongly about these things. of course, i would have never been brave enough
to have gotten involve unless i read some of the posters giving their family
histories. i.e. though i am way past the vettegirl's tripping, i think it is important that young couples view dsiney a place to havesome fun. [actually
i took a few dates to disny when i was at patrick afb]. iwant mykids to see
disny as a place for them too. they don't believe me but they can see
those doing it. no pun but disney will always be a family affair to me....
for all families. it's not up to me judge any one but i think it is to "see"
inappropriate behaviors instead of the person. if a person thinks they
can act against my family make no mistake i will respond. i came real
close pressing charges once when a grandmother did an inappropirate thing.
and on this last trip, i was going to talked about others. so while i am
in the background dosen't mean i am not watching what others are doing.
for the most part, i give the benefit of doubt and try helping...like fathers
lifting big strollers or allowing separated families back in front. not that
iam such a nice guy...that's why i providing a little background...but because
i can remmeber being "there". again, i'll want to make sure everyone reading
understand..i'm no angel but sure did marry one.. of the best person you could
ever want to meet. ramblin ?..if you stated "man" i could understand. but
someone made a nasty reference to a killer..which tells me more about you than me! and don't use a smilie to hide behind...so i hope that person takes their trash some where else. and let me say, this real trip report....we were
on the cruise bus...and i think if disny execs. ever experieced how the kids
say good byes, they make it into a commercial.. it was that special. and
every time we go under disny welcoming signs, it is always a big deal.
and we were at the cornado springs for a a week. if you was there the
first week of oct... then your know one night the sidewalks were covered
with frogs...awful after eating at the wildness buffet. yuk! there's 4 stops
at the resort. we were at stop #4. when we got there, they left a copy
of the last "disney magazine"..which cause a disagrement because my
wife wanted to used in the bathroom. enough! iam a real person, and
from a real family.! if this inappropraite then i shouldn't be writing. oh,
by the way...while i carried 3.6 college avg., it was english that hurt
my gpa. sorry. but not to those that called me stupid. [it kills me
how some really believe they are much more smarter than everyone
else]. for me, i always excited to gain new knowledge. :hippie:

Salagadoola mechicka boola
bibbidi-bobbidi-boo
Put 'em together and what have you got :confused3

well i am trying to get the bugs out but they keep showing up.
maybe i 've should mentioned that we took up a whole section
on the bus and ...my kids were not seated when we passed under
the mickey's arch. to us, that's always a happy time. we then
arrived at cornado's springs. check in was uneventful..my wife
did it while i check out the fountain... seem like every resort we've
been has one. [i really liked the one at wildness lodge]. though
it's oct., it is steamy and just walking around to our "dorm" had
me sweating. [ it sure made having magical express looked smart].
ok--that's my wife doing.
even though the room was on the second floor, it was across the
main pool. and what a pool [complex] it was. it has thebest water
slide we have ever seen. i can still see the lepoard beety eyes
staring at you..yep its big enoygh foradults. so neat is the 'bridge"
overtop the slide, making it neat to spied and take movies.
another bonus was the flowers being in bloom. i did'nt expect that
for oct.. also there some sort of coney plants..that i thought would make
a good gift for the mother-in-law. but i was denied. there's also the
mayan temple and we discovered later it is lite up at night. straight back
from it is a huge hot tub..in ground, of course. arouund thaty area were
outdoor speakers. and lots and lots of little lizards. i try to explained
why i took so much video beacuse it looked liked they're were dancing
to the piped in music but i finally think it's was mating season. but it
was neat wacthing them flair and moved n'syn. enough- that's a poor
joke. ok.. i grew up collecting beetles and such. does every picture
have to your kids in it? besides, our boys no longer stay with us in the
parks--we get there and they're gone. back to the pool..even though
i 've heard this resort was for business...it also had a maficient playground.
this was the first resort i ever wanted to stay in....since 99. and i got to say
we loved it. it even has little golf carts to take you around..needless to say
i was thrill when i made afriend & got to drive one. see? it 's pays to be
friendly. not that iam saying..[hint,hint]. oh, yes we were on the way to
the room [ see iam easily distracted-well i've been married ..years]. you
want to hear one of my secrets?...our room was up the stairs and the
first left..making it vary isolated. i really like that for peace and quiet.
we opened thedoor and the tv is on? oh,boy-its a newtop 7 girl. get
the video out. you know those commcerial on the mounted tv at the bus
top. yep i been recording them for years. [mostly to tick off my wifey-poo.
see ? most of i wrotewas to show how much she tolerate and how great
she really is]. but i can claim this ..i picked this resort...since 99. and horray
i was finally right about something. anyway theroom was wonderful. even
best...remember we just got off the ship. did anyone realized we went
directly from it, [ oh..we sorta had a bathroom incident back at the port
that actually turned out really neat..we got theship model/atrium
by ourselves for 45 minutes--the security even let us take pics.] then onto
the bus, passed mickey's rainbow arch , and thru checkin without any
waiting. even with the pool detour, we was in the room before 11am.
oh,boy! andsince we don't really knoweach other..we always check out
every detail of every room. we especially go for bathroom features. and
again, this was cool. now i made a discovery that i should have kept to
myself or waited a little bit longer... for you see 99 isworth mentioning
because we were also given free copies [our family takes 2rooms], of the
new disney magizine. this was just stopped :sad2: and in the dresser was
a copy of the last one. can you imagined ?! my wife wanted to break it
in ..for good[ anyone remmeber the book george took in on sigfried?]
see? this when "cruise" lag catches up--something very simple. and while
my wife is the best...she is also the complte package. some volumes i try to
leave on the shelf. next thing i know everybody hollering naptime. icouldn't
agreed more..and this is our real trip report. enough!
