Are you allergic to anything?

I don't have any food allergies, but I'm allergic to several medications; Aspirin, Naprosyn, Ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil) Fiorinol, Toradol, and Ultram. The first 5 make my lips swell up! Ultram makes me sick as a dog!

Tomatoes. But only fresh ones. I can eat any processed tomato product and not have a problem, but fresh tomatoes give me a clown mouth (huge red ring) and burn all the skin off my lips.

Sometimes I think it's worth it, though. Nothing beats a fresh tomato with Italian dressing!

Penicillin antibiotics. Also get realy sick (severe migraines and vomiting) with MSG. So you could call that an allergy, too.

Latex, Penicillin, Sulfa

Those of you with allergies to penicillin should be aware that you may also have cross-reactivity with sulfa drugs. I found that out the hard way...

Pollen, dust, cats. My skin is really sensitive and I break out in hives when I'm upset or nervous. That's attractive.

I know so many people allergic to peanuts. Scary!

I'm only allergic to Sulfa drugs. I got through 1.5 days of my medicine before I starting experiencing most of the side effects. What really ticked me off was that I paid $80 for the drugs and I had to throw it all away!

Now if a drug isn't covered under my plan, I get half now, and if it works, half later. I'm no fool!

Venison.

Of all the things to be allergic to, I guess this is a good one (something I don't particularly like). Just discovered it a couple of weeks ago after inadvertantly eating chili with venison in it.

My lips swelled up and I looked not unlike Angelina Jolie

i don't have drug or food allergies, but i have an allergy to PABA (use dto be used in sunscreen) and i also have a sun allergy.

Zoloft and Kefex
The Zoloft made me break out in a real bad rash all along my neck and chin. What was wierd is that I was fine on the lower (starter) dose but when I moved up to the higher (regular) dose is when I got the rash. My Keflex allergy was a pain when I was pregnant since that is one of the "safe" UTI meds for pregnant women.

My DH is allergic to pineapple. I have to be careful not to eat it around him and then kiss, for even that little bit is bad. Boy that was a fun night at the ER, the nurses and doctor joked I had the "kiss of death" and DH still likes to kid me about it.

Beer(Barley & Hops) If I drink one the next morning I feel like I was hit by a bus. Also I can not have wine & seafood together or I swell up like a balloon.

raw fruits and veggies make my lips swell up and burn, they also tighten up my throat. It developed when I was about 17--so weird. I'm not sure if it's an actually allergy or a sensitivity to these foods.

I hadn't eaten raw fruits and veggies in years (always steamed or baked) and then I just had an urge to eat carrots--bad idea. I went to the ER with swollen lips and throat and also they had to pump my stomach because I couldn't digest the carrots!

This time of year makes me crave carameled apples, but there's just no way I can risk it.

Penecillin and sulfa drugs. Especially bad reaction to sulfa ended up in hospital for 3 days (on vacation).
