Ok, had booked Contemporary Concierge, (have stayed there in the tower years ago) but then thought since the kids were older, and for something a little diffrent we would change over to Beach Club Concierge.......heard alot of good things about it. Until now!! Just got done reading alot of negative things about it, from rooms, (which I understand have been renovated and I have seen pictures of, and they look nice!) To the pool being overcrowded to the Concierge CM not being very attentive and even the food not being very good! I thought I was happy with my decision, maybe I just need some postive input from someone who has recently been and had some good experences!!! We go in June!! Please help, before I end up switching again!!!

My DW and I stayed here last November. We had a terrific time -- even before the rennovations.

We had the best Mousekeeper we've ever had at WDW -- Carmen. She was fantastic!!!

The concierge staff we all wonderful -- especially Kimberly who helped us out so many times. I met one person who was less than magical (Josh) -- he seemed out of sorts whenever I saw him.

The lounge is nice and the food was very good. We ate breakfast there each morning -- very filling. Afternoon cookies and snacks were great. Be sure to ask for a bottle of water! They give you a huge bottle of Vittel -- alas, it's glass, so we couldn't lug it to the parks, but it sure beat the tap water in the room.

I highly recommend BC concierge. I think you'll have a wonderful time!!

I have had good and bad experiences at each hotel at WDW in the past... I think it is the luck of the draw and who is working that day.....The Beach Club is beautiful... the concierge food was good... I have run into incredible concierge employees and I have run into those who were a little cranky.......Just take it as it comes and if there are problems, get a manager involved... that is the only way.. In the meantime, expect it to be wonderful...I am sure it will be.

We stayed in BC concierge last year. The room was fantastic. Mousekeeping did a great job. The food in the lounge was good. I didn't find the CM's all that helpful or knowledgeable. We heard there was a tour of the gardens at the resort, so we decided to ask and find out all the details so we could go. The CM not only didn't know anything about it, she seemed annoyed that we asked. That was just one CM so I don't typically let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch. Everyone else was wonderful. I didn't think Stormalong Bay was over-crowded at all. We were there the week of Memorial Day. It's not that crowded during that time, only moderate crowds. However, we don't have kids so we tend to stay in the section of the pool over near the hot tubs with the pretty waterfalls. Perhaps the sections with more children would be more congested.

I think you should keep your ressie - you'll have a wonderful time.

You know how it is..........you do a whole bunch of "checking in to's" and then you think you positivley one hundered percent sure....................and then you hear about or read a bunch of stuff that just makes you question it. I think it's called paranoia!!! Anyway, I appreciate all your comments, and suggestions, makes me feel better!
