Are you a Yankee Candle-aholic?

I fear I am becoming one. I don't have a Yankee Candle store in my local mall, but the mall that's 1/2 hour from me does have one. When I know they are having a buy one get one 1/2 price sale I go there. I have bought a couple of other jars from card stores and other stores that carry Yankee Candles when I like the scent of the month that they have on sale.

Recently I passed the mall that has the YC store -- I bought two big jars (both on sale.) and some tarts and votives. I must have over 12 large jars unburned along with a couple of medium sized jars and one or two small jars. I have a few votives and at least 20 tarts.

I think this is becoming a problem for me. LOL Anyone else happily addicted to Yankee Candles?

I have about 25 tarts (generally all I buy, like a fresh one often). Just changed today from Christmas Cookie (I know it was a cookie one) to Clean Cotton (or is it Fresh Cotton, LOL). What does Eric think of YC's??

Well, I didn't used to be, but I am now thanks to you all!!!

I prefer the tarts over the big jars. I think the scent is stronger, they are less expensive and I can sample them without spending a fortune!

My 12 y.o. is quite the YC fan too! He is always asking me to burn one for him! I let him pick out which tart and tell him to go ahead!

Dan--GMTA! Guess which one is burning here right now---Clean Cotton! That is one of my favorites!

I have been a Yankee Candle addict for about 4 years, however being overseas I am feeling withdrawals. I did stock up before I moved and I am down to my last 4 jars and probably only have about 20-25 tarts left. I know there is the Internet, but it just kills me to have to pay the shipping charges. I am hoping my dear family will replenish my supply at Christmas.

Dan -- Eric doesn't mind the YCs. He seems to like the scents that I buy and he will occasionally even light one of the ones I have sitting in the kitchen.

Yes....I am a Yankee Candle addict.
My DD worked in a craft store while in high school and introduced me to them (that was about 4 years ago).

I have quite a supply in my closet.....and am ready for the next 4 or 5 exchanges!
I like the jars and the tarts the best, but also burn votives.

I love 'em a lot, too. Right now I'm burning Spiced Pumpkin in the kitchen, and Chocolate Truffle in the livinng room. Chocolate Truffle is my new favorite--my living room smells like a big mug of hot cocoa. My other favorite, Irish Cream, I bought last Christmas, but is no longer on their website, and not in our YC store. That one is really yummy--a creamy butterscotchy/caramel smell.

yes....i'm totally addicted. i have about 25 unburned votives and about 15 halfway burned ones. i like them all but the pumkin and spice ones give me migraines.

luvmydogs -- YC has discontinued the chocolate truffle scent. You may want to see if you can find more to put away before they are all gone.

You can request a catalog. The last few times I got catalogs, there is a form in there to sign up for monthly candles. It's like $200 and they send you a featured candle every month.

I tried to see if you could sign up for it on the website, but I didn't find it. You could probably email them and ask.

The only problem I have with burning the food scents (like Buttercream, Orange Cupcake and Banana Nut Bread) is that they make me hungry!

Right now, I'm burning a Blueberry Muffin medium jar, and I have 5 or so jars waiting to be burned. I'll be hitting the mall in the next few days, and will definately be stopping in the YC store to stock up!
