I'm a meat eater but we don't eat it alot. I like everything cooked well done, meat, chicken, bacon, pizza, everything!

I eat meat. WATCH OUT! Not humans though. Not much of a seafood person either.

I haven't eaten red meat or pork in years and years, although I do like the taste of brown gravy on mashed potatoes.

I also love the smell of meat cooking on the grill.

I gave it up because I thought it was the compassionate thing to do (yeah, yeah...I know) and I rarely eat chicken or turkey either, but still do on occasion.

I'm kind of in the middle- I don't usually eat meat, but every couple of months I break down and have a turkey sub or something :)

My dh and I eat meat but my daughters do not. ONe will eat fish and seafood, the other is a complete vegetarian

I was a vegetarian for almost 2 years, but I gained (YES, gained!) so much weight, I decied to go back to eating low carb. I started back on low carb on Jan 7th and I have lost 17lbs of the 50 I had gained back!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
I guess my body just prefers eating meat!

I'm an omnivore. I do have spells of being an herbivore though.:) That's not very often.:teeth:

Before I vote I have a question. I eat seafood and dairy, but no red meat , chicken or turkey. So am I a vegan?

I'm a vegetarian, ovo-lacto. I eat dairy and the occasional egg but no meat, fish, poultry, etc. I gave up red meat when I was eight and all meat products when I was ten. I'm fairly strict, I won't eat marshmallows or anything that has gelatin, etc.

Lynn, a vegan is someone who eats no animal products whatsoever, including eggs, dairy, and even honey. I think you'd fall into the semi-vegetarian category because you eat some meat products but not red meat.

Meat eater! I love chicken (BBQ is the best!), roast turkey and just about all seafood (except flounder, halibut, etc.)! :) Red meat is not my thing, but I'm trying to work it into my diet. Bah!

Hope I didn't offend anyone! :(

Definitions
Ovo-lacto vegetarian: A person who eats no meat, fish, or poultry but who does eat eggs and dairy products.

Vegan: A person whose diet excludes all forms of animal products including meat, fish and poultry, eggs, dairy, gelatin, whey, refined sugar, and honey.

Hope that helps! :)

Ovo-Laco Vegetarian here!! :D Have been 9 years (since I was 16)!

Meat!!! I love a great grilled steak, medium. My mouth is watering now!:p

I'm a meat eater. :)

We're kind of in the middle. Our 1 DS is a vegetarian, but not a vegan. He'll eat dairy products. He will not wear leather, etc.

DH and I only eat chicken, turkey and fish, not other meats. We also try to avoid using leather.

Our oldest and youngest eat everything although our oldest does limit the amount of meat he eats.

I eat meat. I try to work in a few vegetarian meals each week so that we get a wide variety of nutrients, but I eat all kinds of meat, even beef. I just select lean cuts and eat it with low fat foods.

I eat meat, but when given a choice I usually find a non-meat dish more to my liking.
