We all know we are not supposed to bring back the Refillable Mugs on the next trip, but just for fun, let's do an anonymous poll to see how many people really follow the rules.

I admit it...I dont stay at the resort. I bought a cup for when I have dinners at the resort. So how bout them apples.

Didn't Disney go to some type of bar-coding a few years back to prevent returns on subsequent trips? I thought I had read that.

As for being an abuser, I did use once on a subsequent trip, back in '01, at DxL. I had been there in Sept, from what I had read here, seemed like it was okay (though I had read the controversy here, but not as much as nowadays). I did ask 2 CM's at DxL, both had said it was okay, so I did reuse on my Dec trip there. Some time after that, I read they were going to a bar-code. Any correctness to that, the bar-code?

So, I guess I was an abuser, once, but at the time, thought it was okay, based on what I had read, and response by CM's.

I'll admit it. I've brought a mug bag to the same resort within the same year.

ETA: this poll should be multiple choice. I only buy one mug per resort since only DH really uses it and he then shares with DSs.

Can I admit another no-no? If I split stay, I've used the previous resort mug at the new resort to fill up on water. If that makes me a mug abuser, so be it.

We haven't stayed at the same resort on subsequent trips but we only bought 3 Poly mugs for the 5 of us in December so I voted for the 2nd option. Hubby and I had coffee in the am and the boys used the mugs in the afternoon/evening for soda or hot chocolate. I suppose that's cheating but it seemed reasonable to us.

Well, since I have over 15 of the darned things, I'm obviously not reusing them. But, at Pop last week I did see a Typhoon Lagoon mug being refilled!!! I almost wish I could bring myself to reuse them at the same resort. I now have 8 from 3 different trips to POR (DxL). Now that I own at BWV it isn't nearly as convienent to use them. But I still get them when I have those 2-3 night stays at other resorts!!

On one trip my sister bought a mug. I think I drank out of it once.

We're never at the resort so mugs are worthless to us. If we all drank out of that mug for the week, Disney would still make 99% profit on us.

We buy new ones each time but DH and DD share. He uses it for coffee in the morning (but I buy her a Frappocino) and she uses it for pop in the afternoon. I'd never thought twice about that--particularly since I'm spending more money for the Frappocino.

I don't find they save me money, so I don't buy them at all any more. I do have two, one from POFQ and one from WL. I broke even both trips so now I don't bother, since I don't use the mugs at home. Actually, these days I don't ever eat at the resort food courts, so it's a moot point. Maybe once we have kids it will become worth it....

Well, I guess I need to watch out for the mug police.

We reuse out WL mugs but do not fill them up in the dispenser. We use them for beer or hard lemonade when around the around the pool.

We bought a mug at VB for DD the last trip and we shared it most of the week. I like the WL ones better because they hold more.

When we bought out WL mugs we were told by a CM when we purchased them that they could be reused at the same resort for mutiple trips in the same year. I guess that has since changed.

No we don't, can't be bothered, besides it would take up space that a souvenir could fill.
