are you a couponer?

Assuming we are talking about food shopping.....I used to be when we first got married. I'd save a lot but not in the long run because we never used all we bought! Then I was clipping tons of coupons & they'd expire before I got to use them! So After year 4 I gave up & just get the specials in the flyers.

Since I shop weekly for my mom, aunt and dd and myself - I usually end up saving at least 5.00 - 10.00 or more weekly - it does add up

Our store prints out coupons and you can use them along with the manufacturer's coupon - double saving which is cool

Our store also doubles coupons - up to a dollar

Addicted to couponing
wishing I could stockpile more
but we don't get triple coupons much here and never ($1.00 coupon doubles to $2.00) our stores only double coupons up to a total of $1.00

I find it easier to just buy extra newspapers on sundays and collect from relatives than to buy coupons off ebay or other places

My DD says I'll buy anything if I have a coupon for it

Well, it is a way to get some rebate forms/coupons that you would not normally get.

For example, say a NY newspaper has a $5.00 or $7.00 off Crest Whitestrips... and your Des Moines Iowa paper did not... that is a way to get a potentially very valuable coupon that you would not be able to obtain.. its more of a service. Its based on supply demand principle.

Same with rebate forms. Say a Simply white rebate form for $5 was in demand. There is a $5 manufacturers Simply White coupon out there.. you could combine both and get a product for nothing... (the Simply white is about $10 here!)

Or if you bought some Simply White (again just using an example), and they didn't have the rebate form.. its a way of obtaining it.

The lady that used to live here was a smoker. She has since moved, but cigarette coupons come to the house on a pretty regular basis.. addressed to her or occupant... I'm not a smoker, but others are.

Somewhat. I clip from the Sunday paper, but I only use about $10 worth when I buy groceries.

I use the binder method. People look at me kind of funny while I'm shopping but I don't care. My P&C had super double coupons about a month and a half ago. They doubled even the $1.00 coupons which is unheard of here. I made two trips. I haven't had to go grocery shopping since except for milk, bread and eggs. I have enough toothpaste to last me a lifetime (seriously) and enough toilet paper and paper towels to last atleast a year.
