are Xmas SWA fares out of PVD/MHT usually expensive? + other SWA Qs

just wondering, for those of you who have flown around Xmastime on SWA from PVD-MCO in the past: how much $ is airfare usually for that time?
what about MHT-MCO?

also, does anyone remember when SWA released those holiday flights for sale in the past?
right now they're selling dates through 9/8, and rumored to release the next block sometime soon. but what do you think that next block will be? would it cover through December? or is it too soon for SWA December flights to go on sale?

I'm going to bump this up because this was the exact question I have been wondering about except we would be flying from CMH.

Watch the SW website and book IMMEDIATELY for the XMAS dates. Those and the Thanksgiving will sell fast and even if SW comes out with a sale they may not have seats available. If they do you can always call them and get a credit for future travel.

is the $160 fare that Barb mentioned the norm for holiday SWA fares from PVD or from MHT?
or is it higher?

just trying to get an idea of whether the wait is worth it (SWA only released through Oct now, so who knows when they'll release Xmas fares? at this rate they'll be doing Nov fares next, and then Dec fares much later, argh. )

or if we should make alternate plans like having my family drive down to my place and we'll all fly out of NYC (where fares are much lower than the insane $500+ BOS fares right now) instead. the problem w/ that is we'd have to buy NYC airfare, and then we're locked into that. *sigh*
