Are Xmas decorations up the week between Xmas and New years

Wow, I am just full of questions today....

Are the decorations still up??? What do the resorts do for Xmas???

They start putting up christmas decorations the 2nd to 3rd week of November. Everything is up by Thanksgiving. WE have gone twice during this time period, and I recommend everyone doing it at least once. There is nothing like WDW to put you in the christmas spirit. For us it was breathtaking. Yes, the resort and park decorations are still up. MGM still has the Osborne lights up, and Epcot has the Candlelight Processional through the 30th.

Yes the decorations are still up. I believe they come down after the new year. Also there are still holiday things going on like the Osbourne lights at MGM and Epcot holidays around the world. Here are some links with info:

The decorations are really fantastic. You really should take time to resort hop to see how they decorate. Especially the GF and WL. All the deluxe resorts really go above and beyond with the theming and decor. The gingerbread house at the GF is outrageous. When we stayed there we were luck enogh the watch them transform the lobby overnight with X-Mas decorations. It was amazing. And to watch how they make that life size gingerbread house!!! Oh, I can smell it now!! Here's a pic:
