Are weekends easier to book?

I have a complicated trip coming up at the end of Aug. with 3 nights at POR with free dining and then 4 nights at BWV for our first DVC stay(!) Because I didn't want to use so many points for a weekend stay I'm paying cash (AP discount) to stay at the BC for that last weekend. Now I'm thinking,with free dining I just about break even staying at POR as using my points during the week and purchasing the DDP.So,if I decide to stay at POR for 5 nights and DVC for the weekend I'd actually save $ and points.(Of course I only have time to think this through on the weekend when MS is closed ) We love POR and it wouldn't be a hardship to stay there.This is my very looong way of asking if it is easier to book weekends(Aug 24-27) then week days?

If you like POR so much, you can add all nights to your stay with the
Free dining plan. You'll find another time to come and stay at the BWV...or if you decide to book at the BWV for the 2 weekend nights, Fri&Sat, then you can also add the DDP for those nights. I don't know if it would be worth it for the last two nights. If you booked AP rate at the BCR or BWI, you can't add the dining plan on to it.

Can you stay at the BWV for the 1st two nights and end your stay at the POR with the free dining plan? You can modify your ressie if the nights are available. Stay 1st 2 nights at the BWV, then stay POR that includes the weekend nights.
