When we were dating, I took my (now) hubby to Disney World for his first visit....hello, I couldn't agree to marry a man before I knew he would love Disney. He has grown to love it...maybe not as much as me but lets not go there...yet laughed at me and told me I was crazy when I told him that I didn't want to go to bed cause I discovered a website with people as obsessed with Disney as me. Now I ask you, is there anything wrong with this??? I think not...

Don't worry. Either he will come to love the Dis to or will resign himself to your addiction! We have all been there! (My DH loves to hear the posts now and even the kids listen in!) Hey, it is better sitting around watching mindless TV every night!

I, however, did marry DH before he ever went to WDW. Sadly, he has yet to be to WDW.

We moved to S. Florida 7 months ago and we STILL Haven't gone. I went once for the weekend with my parents and brother when they came to visit but so far we haven't gone. I don't know WHAT I AM THINKING!!! Now I am 6.5 months pregnant and honestly don't think we will be able to go before the baby is born....

Off to start my own thread about that ....

My husband said last night, "every time I see you at the computer you're on the same website... that Disney one." I just laughed. I get a lot of good information from here. He thinks I've started watching the news!

I took my husband to Disney before marriage too, not planned that way. We were to get married at a lighthouse on Lake Superior in May, with honeymoon at Disney following. The pastor for the service was my husbands best friend, he called 6 weeks before the wedding to say Sorry he can't make it. Mother passed away and father was coming to live with them and was suffering mental issues. My husband says if he can't marry us then I don't want anyone to do the service. Telling my sister the whole story, and she says that her and her boyfriend are going to Vegas to get married in June, they invite us to go, all expenses paid including airfare and rooms at the Belagio, we would just pay for the wedding. We tried to change our honeymoon at Disney and airline tickets, it could not be done without losing lots of $$$$. so we took our Honeymoon first then got married. We called it our Honeycation and even had it put on an ornament and a pillow for future conversation starters...people were like " what do you want it to say?" after we quickly explained they though it was Great idea...So I guess if he had not liked Disney then I did not have to goto Vegas..lol

Nope, not weird at all! I took my DH to Disney for the first time when we were dating too! Now he loves it just as much as me. To be honest, I think he is itching for a return trip. I'm not really thinking that way curently, but he has been saying things like "Would you like it if I surprised you?" and "I have all these Disney rewards points to spend!" We'll see...

I do agree there are worse things we could be doing....
BUT unfortunately there are probably more productive things we could be doing too like taking care of the children, cleaning the house, paying the bills, feeding the family......
