Are we too soon for the Jersey Week?

We will be arriving NOV 1-9. Will we be there for Jersey Week? Someone told me we will be gone before the action takes place. Not a prob either way judt wondering what to expect.

I think by around the 4th or 5th you will see Jersey Week related crowds.

Jersey week usually coincides with Election Day week.
Schools are closed that Thursday and Friday for the Teachers' Conference.
Many schools are closed Tuesday because they're used for polling.
Veterans Day ofteh falls that week.
Given that they'd only be missing two days, a lot of NJ parents take their kids out of school all week to go on vacation.

Went during "Jersey Week" in 2004. Crowds were very managable.
