Are we too late?

We are planning on surprising our son with a Disney trip for Christmas... We can get reservations at the resorts. Question is how hard will it be to get ADRs for the various restaurants during the week before Christmas??

today, shouldn't be too difficult. i doubt there's that many you can't get (if any). but there's only one way to find out.

Don't forget,depending on when you are going the 180 mark is in June.

Have it all figured out by your 180th and you'll be set. Even if you think you may make adjustments, go ahead and make the ADRs. You can cancel them anytime. Make the new ADR before cancelling anything though. If you cancel first and they don't have anything available for what you do want you may be out all together. You may find you're better off just to keep the existing ADR.

ADR's for the week before Christmas should start mid/late June so you will be fine, as a guide for NYE it is July 4th for 180 days out.

We check in on Dec. 15th and our 180 day mark is june 18th. Here's the PS calculator website:

We have gone twice the week before christmas and usually it's pretty nice. In our experience, the closer to christmas the more packed it becomes at WDW. Usually we can everything we want but I'm a little worried about Le Cellier this year. We plan on having a plan and calling 180 days if something doesn't work we're coming up with some backup restaurants.

i actually was able to make all my ADRs for christmas week last year in Nov! i did it 3 days after thanksgiving for 9 people and had no problems besides trying to get one for candlelight precessional dinner package on christmas day- but we still got it at Rose and Crown Pub. we had christmas eve dinner at Liberity Tree, we would of had it at CRT, but they were asking $50.00 a person at time of booking and i was booking for 2 families
