DH gave up the tv long ago
for his new book

he is into sci fi
yuck

I second that yuck!!
DH always does work in the evening at home but on Saturday nights, sometimes he takes a break and turns on the SciFi channel.

I finally finished the marcia brady book
I got bored in the middle of it

don't run out and buy it

I hardly ever buy books any more. As soon as I hear of a good book coming out, I reserve it online at the library. We are allowed 3 weeks and renewals if no one else has reserved it.

DD was in Manhattan a while ago, at one of the department stores, and she spotted Maureen McCormick trying on head bands at one of the counters.(This was about the time when she was promoting the book) Those headbands start at $100!! What are they made of???

THANKS! It is sunny so far, and as soon as I take DD and passenger to school with the cupcakes, I am off!

The book is not that good, the best part may be the photos from when she was a kid! Headbands?! She was on celebrity fit club, too.

Our HighSchool is doing "arena" scheduling this year
which basically means
the students have to figure out their own schedule
where each class will fit in the 8 period day
and then go from class to class until they fill up
and if they fill up
you have to rearrange your schedule YOURSELF

THis seems to me like admin too lazy to MAKE the schedule themselves
I can't imagine it is going to work well...

students have to come up with three schedules themselves
before the ARENA day
