DAY 4 : Magic Kingdom and Toy Story Mania!!!

Day 4 started out like the rest; We woke up, got ready, and headed to a park! Exciting huh?

Moving on!
We headed over to Magic Kingdom!!! We rode Buzz (since we didn't get a chance to the other day we were there) and the People Mover. I don't care what anyone says, but I like riding the People Mover! It is a relaxing ride to give a little quiet back to the chaos and excitment of Disney park rides and fun!
Then, since the wait wasn't too long, DH and I rode Space Mountain while DM watched DS. They shopped and looked around while we were on the ride. I had NEVER been on it because on our disneymoon trip it was still under renovations BUT up and running now so we got in line to ride! It was a blast! (so fun we rode it again another day, but that's a different story!)

Next up was breakfast at the Contemporary at Chef Mickeys!!! We love it there! It's a great breakfast (in the running with Tusker House) and great atmosphere as well! DS LOVED seeing the characters again! Well, same characters, different place! HAHA

Back to MK we went to ride some more rides!
DS and I rode the Carousel a bazillion times!!! He LOVED it! Kept wanting to "ride the yeehaw!"

DS and DH rode Dumbo next! DS decided Dumbo was second best to the yeehaws!
He had so much fun on it, but you can barely see him in any of the pictures (since he has to ride on the inside and isn't super tall! bahaha!)
So DH took this picture and I'm using it instead of a headless picture!

Last up was Mickey Philharmagic before going back to the resort to swim and relax!!! DS loved swimming, but didn't want to leave!!! We had an accident though, so back to the room we went anyways!!! It was time to get ready for dinner!!!

Dinner was at Yachtsman! I CANNOT put into words how much I LOVE eating there!!!! It is a definite MUST!!! And we lucked out by having Oscar as our waiter He is the BEST!
I got scallops DH got lobster bisque, and DM had shrimp cocktail for appetizers. Since DS was sleeping, DM held him (through the WHOLE dinner!!) AND since she was doing that, Oscar came by the table and cut all the tails off my mom's shrimp for her since she only had one hand to eat with!
For Entree's I had the Bass with Lobster mashed potatoes (YUMM!!!) DH had the Filet Mignon, and DM had the Porterhouse. Oscar to the rescue again to cut up DM's steak! "Anything you want, Oscar will do!" He told her! Oscar's the best! He remembered us from dining there for our disneymoon (we were there the first night and one of the last ones. the 2nd time we didnt get him as our waiter, but he came by and said hi) He made us laugh and smile again like last year! He is one of the reasons we LOVE eating there ( the other bein the food!) He even remembered our conversation from the year before, and how long we had been together, but I guess that's what you get when you have 20 minute comversations with your waiter the year before We will definitely eat there again as long as he is working there!!!
For dessert, I had the pistachio trio, DH had the banana napolean, and DM had the trio of sorbet. One of DM's was a strawberry-basil sorbet, and it wasn't too bad! So, Dinner was a success, and DM learned why we love eating there so much & why we have to have Oscar as our waiter!
DS didn't wake up till we were headed for the car!

Onto Hollywood Studios now.

Fantasmic was the plan for the evening, but we missed it SO instead, we rode the Great Movie Ride, saw the Little Mermaid musical, and rode Toystory Midway Mania again! DS rode with DM so I could try and beat DH (like usual) and I did!!! OF COURSE!

Next, Mike and I went to ride some rides. DM took DS to get a bite to eat, and go through the shops.

So, we rode the Tower of Terror
and Rockin Rollercoaster
When DH and I caught back up with them, DS was asleep!
Being 11pm at night, it was time to head back to the resort to bed!
Tomorrow we decided we would go shopping in the morning since breakfasts not till 10ish!

Stay Tuned for DAY 5 and MORE MK fun (since you can never get enough!) and special grown-up dinner for DH and I!!!

A great morning at the AK (we really do have to do Tusker House one of these visits) and the afternoon at Epcot. I don't blame your DS...I didn't even see Captain EO and know I wouldn't like it (I sent DH to see it himself because he wanted to see it while we were there in September).

Yes, do Tusker House! It's a great breakfast and so fun!!!

DS is so cute and that family picture was wonderful -- I can see why you chose it for your Christmas card this year!

I've never tried Tusker House before, but it sounds wonderful, and we'll have to try it next time we go.

SORRY i HAVEN'T BEEN TO UPDATE IN A WHILE! BEEN BUSY THEN GETTING SICK ON AND OFF AND TOO MUCH OTHER STUFF! i NEED TO FINISH THIS TR THOUGH BECAUSE WE ARE GOING BACK IN SEPTEMBER AND I WILL BE PUTTING UP A PTR HERE IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO.... AHH!!!!!

DAY 5:More MK fun w/ a grownup dinner at the end!

We woke up and got ready and headed over to the Poly for our breakfast at O'hana! We had never eaten there before and were looking forward to it! The food was served family-style by our "cousin" who was great! The food was yummy! We had fresh fruit & raisin bread and their pineapple sweet bread to start. Then our "cousin" brought us a big plate of scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, bacon, and they brought Mickey waffles around as well!
DS got pictures taken with Lilo & Stitch,
Pluto

and Mickey too!

DS got so excited when "mouse" came by! He is by far his favorite character!!

After a lovely and fun breakfast, we headed over to Magic Kingdom!
DS wanted to ride the carousel again!
We all rode Snow White, Peter Pan, and
Winnie the Pooh!

We also rode Haunted Mansion (one of my favorite rides!)
After that, we were all getting a bit hot, so we decided to head back to the hotel to relax for a while before Dinner time.
DM and DS had plans to go to 1900 Park Fare for dinner and DH and I had plans to go to Citricos, both at the Grand Floridian.

After we relaxed, we got dressed-up and headed over to the Grand Floridian
We walked around the grounds a bit since we were early, then DM and DS stayed on the ground floor to check into dinner and DH and I headed up to Citricos! We walked upstairs and were headed towards where our dinner would be when we heard crying and screaming from the ground floor. We both looked to see DS crying for his mommy and daddy! Being together for so long, then finally getting some time apart was hard for DS at first, but then he stopped and on we went to our dinner!

DH and I were promptly seated after almost no wait! I ordered their Duck Confit and DH ordered the crab cake for appetizers. For Entrees, I had the braised veal shank (melt in your mouth good!) and DH had the oak-grilled filet of beef. For dessert DH had the cheesecake (of course! DH LOVES cheesecake!) and I had the Tiramisu! Hands down, best Tiramisu I have EVER had!!!!!!

After dinner, we met back up with DM and DS on the ground level. DM told us all about how DS was a crab-butt and wouldn't take a picture with Prince Charming

and that it took a few shots with his hands in the way before Cinderella held his hands to get a picture. DM said that he yelled for each his mommy and daddy when they came by! LOL

BUT DM said that he stood up nice and tall when Lady Tremaine asked him too for their picture

DM said that Lady Tremainetold DS that "when he gets older he can marry one of my daughters"! LOL too funny!!!
DS also took good pictures with the step-sisters! He made funny faces with them and laughed with them! LOL Dm said the food was good and DS ate well

We decided to travel over to down town disney after dinner. WHAT A MESS!!! It was super crowded!!! DS had fallen asleep on the car ride over and stayed asleep the whole time we walked around. It was hard to get into any stores, so we deicded to call it an early night and head back to the hotel.

All in all, it was a fun and exciting day

I love Tiramisu too, and it was the best I had ever eaten!
Breakfast at O'hana is great and a lot of fun!
TRY CITRICOS!!!! It was one of our favorite dinners all week!!! ( second to Yachtsman, which we ALWAYS eat at and LOVE!)

DAY 6 : Fun with Fish & Walking Around the World!!!

Today we had decided that since we didn't have a breakfast ADR, we would sleep in- Wrong! DS was up and ready to play at 7:30am!

So, everyone got ready for the day, and off to EPCOT we went! Our lunch ADR was for Coral Reef, and seeing as we had some time on our hands, we headed over to Ellen's Energy Adventure to kill some of that time.
It's nothing amazing, and it definitely is not the newest ride, but it is informative and around 45 minutes long. We were unable to finish the ride though, because as we were in the last 5 minutes, the ride broke down. Oh well! Atleast we weren't halfway through it!!!!

After Ellen, we walked over towards the seas. We rode the clamobile's again and walked around inside the SEAS. DS loves fish!!!

Then it was lunch time! DH and I shared an appetizer that included crabcakes, bbq beef, cucumber salad, lobster soup & shrimp! It was yummy! DM had the land and Sea. For Entrees, DM had the Mahi Mahi, DH had the Lobster Ravioli, DS had pizza ( i believe) and I had an unappetizing Rainbow Trout. It was not tasty to me AT ALL! I disliked it very much!

After lunch, it was time to finally walk around the world!!!!!!!

DS acctually slept while we walked around the world too!!!

Well, just up until Norway! Then he woke up and wanted a popsicle!! LOL

We rode the Maelstrom (DS was kinda scared when we went backwards, but everyone enjoyed the ride!)
After the ride, DS got his picture taken with the Troll ( DH is of Norwegian descent)

DS looks SO SMALL next to the Troll!!!!

Last up was Mexica where we rode the Three Caballeros ride. DS loved the music!

It was time to head back to the hotel to take a swimming break!

Down Town Disney was up after swimming since DS missed walking around the other night and it was too crowded to look in any stores. We wanted to take DS to the toy store to see what he would be interested in. He LOVED it!!! He wanted to take EVERYTHING home with him!!!
DS ended up with a little Mickey Mouse ( he already has a large and medium size ones from DH!)
DS also wanted to ride on the carousel there, so I took him on there to ride! He was having a blast! He loves Carousels!!! He refers to the ride as "riding horseys!"

We went back to EPCOT after our time at DTD.
We rode on Space Ship Earth again, and then headed over towards Canada. Le Cellier would be where we would dine tonight! Our ADR wasn't until around 8:30 or so though... LATE DINNER!!! BUT we LOVE Le Cellier, and that was the only time we could get an ADR, so we took it!!!
We were the last to be seated!
I don't remember everyones appetizers, I had the cheddar cheese soup (YUM) and we all had the filet with mushroom risotto! (DBL YUM!) I had the semifreddo for dessert, DH had raspberry sorbet, and DM had the maple creme brulee!
We felt kind of rushed to eat as well! DH and I decided that next time, we would try for a lunch ADR instead.
My childhood friend works at Disney, and she met up with us while we ate. It was so great to see her! Last visit we saw her for only about 5 minutes in between her busy schedule, so it was nice to acctually get to sit down and talk!

After dinner and visiting with my friend, it was time to head back to the hotel for bed as DS was becoming very tired with every step!!!
