Are We Official Yet??

Probably another dumb "newbie" question, but I'll ask it anyway...

Last week we got a letter from the Closing Company that we had closed on our pts purchase @ OKW. Saturday we got a Member Guidebook in the mail frm DVC, but we haven't gotten anything with a "member number" yet.
Are we officially member's?? I have read several comments that MS won't even talk to you without a member number, so I don't know if it would be a waste of time to call.
We are sooooo eager to call and make the arrangements for our first trip home in June that it's driving us (especially my wife) crazy.
What do you DVC veterans think??

Just call and MS can look you up by your SS#. As long as you're in the computer, you can start making reservations.

Thanks, Doc. I have a feeling my wife will be on the phone to MS the minute they turn on their phones in the morning. LOL

I think she's read the guidebook from cover to cover at least twice since yesterday.
