Are we eligible for the dining plan?

We just booked for September into DVC. We aren't DVC members, we traded into it through our timeshare exchange company. We already have some ADRs, but might try to add more if we sign up for the dining!
 
Yes you can buy it. There is a DVC board where they can tell you all the details, I think you can add it on at check in but ask over on the DVC boards for up to date info.

Curious, how hard is it to get DVC through a trade? Was it an II property? My parents own a bunch of timeshares in Hawaii and California, they keep offering them to us.
 
Yes, it was through II. We just changed our plans from October to September because this exchange came up. We had already purchased airline tickets for the four of us for October, but decided it was cheaper to pay $200 in change ticket fees and rebook the flights than to spend $1500 + to stay onsite and get a 1 bedroom to boot!

That's great about the dining plan, hopefully it will be a good option for us!
