My husband and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in October and I have this yearning to go to Disney. Do you think it is too late to plan a 4 day trip? It has been 7 years since we have been there and it was with both kids. Do you think we could get a room and ticket package at this late date?

Im sure you would be able to find something as just last week I was pricing a possible trip for in october as well, for the 20 was my date and there was availability. We have decieded to hold off though as we want to get our upcoming cruise for march paid off first:sad2:

Definitely! I planned a March trip in January this year and a Fourth of July trip in the middle of June. I was very satisfied with the ADR's that I got, even getting Le Cellier on the Fourth of July!

Certainly!! We are doing the exact same thing. We celebrated our 25th anniversary last week and I have planned a last minute trip to disney for us next month, without kids. We went to Disney on our honeymoon, so I have told them they didn't go on the honeymoon and they aren't going on the anniversary trip. We already had vacation time off of work so we decided to wait and celebrate a month late. I have managed to get most of the ADR's I wanted. Have fun planning.

Absolutely! Hubs and I have booked as late as 3 weeks prior to leaving for trips in the fall. His work is very chaotic and we can't always plan ahead. We've been able to get great accommodations at WL and AKL each time. Enjoy the trip without the kids....it's a whole other Disney when you're on your own!!! :thumbsup2 You can plan all those fancy dinners you might not do with the little ones! lol We really enjoy Citrico's and Cali Grill.

As long as you are flexible with dining reservations, it is nice going to WDW with out any plans. The DW and I did a trip in may with only a hotel reservation.
I suggest Port Orleans French Quarter, I don't think there is a bad room in the resort and it is perfect for couples.

Well, I spent 2 hours at AAA this afternoon and got a really great package including airfare. We are staying at POP, got free dining, 5 days/4 nights, 4 day park pass, VERY EXCITED! We'll be there October 18-22, Food & Wine at Epcot & one of the nights is Mickey's Halloween party. :cool1:

Awesome! I'm going with newbies Oct 20-27 have a great time!:thumbsup2

Definitely doable! I planned a 4 day trip over the 40th anniversary last year just 34 days before going and had no problems (surprisingly) getting the resort room and everything I wanted! You have plenty of time! Just be flexible and go with it!
