Are Universal tickets upgradable?

Planning to buy a 1 day, park to park pass. If we want to go a second day, can we upgrade that pass to the 2 day, park to park like you can at Disney? Not sure we will want to go back a second day (we don't have the time), but if we like it and want to go back again, hoping we can pay just the smaller amount by upgrading to a 2 day.

Yes, but you need to do so before exiting the park. There is a guest services area near the exits that you can use to upgrade tickets.
