Are Universal AP's only for Florida residents??

No. When you go to the ordering page, just click (not a Florida resident) at the top and it'll lead you to another page where you pay slightly more.

I bought a Power Pass on March 19 and I am from Pa. I asked at guest services about the Power Pass only being for Fl. residents and they had never heard that so I bought it for $53 with my ticket upgrade.

:)We are from the uk and have a power pass and had one a couple of years ago and used it ok. Not used this one yet though we upgraded our tickets to the power pass and the lady could clearly see we were from the uk so it should be ok I hope

We live in Tennessee and Christmas 2008 we purchased the power passes at AAA. Same time next year - no more power passes available but they let us renew our old power passes. Thank goodness we bought them when we did. I keep waiting for the power passes to be offered again so I can buy one for a friend but it looks like only Fl. sells it now.

i bought a preferred pass on flex pay but i only made 2 payments and then they never charged my card again and i am for pa - i figured once they found i wasnt from FL they cancelled it

Hmmm...that's strange. Did you call and ask them what the problem was? The Preferred AP is available to anyone...not just FL residents.

Thank you for contacting the Universal Online Ticket Store. The Flex Pay option is available for all guests regardless of residency. The 2 park Preferred pass is the only pass available for Flex Pay.

Please contact a Representative via phone at 407 224 7840. Someone will be able to take you step by step through the online process. The contract must be set up online or at the theme park.

Representatives will be available Monday through Saturday 7:30 am to 10 pm EST and Sunday 9:00 am to 9 pm EST.

That's what I thought.

On the Universal site, I can't seem to find any annual passes except those for Florida residents. If I click on "Not a Florida Resident" it takes me to multi-day options up to 7 days.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.

I called yesterday to get the assistant with purchasing an annual pass with flex pay. I was unable to do this as well. The song and dance that I got was I was going to have to purchase my annual pass at the park if I wanted the flex pay. This makes me very nervous. But I am firing off another email to find out what the heck is going on.

Kimberly

The response I got was that indeed you can still purchase with the flex pay but you have to do it at the entrance of the park. The other response I got was this was still available at the park but it is subject to change at any time.

If anyone is at the parks in the next couple of days could you please check on this.
