Are tickets required for PI restaurants?

My sister and her family will be staying off-site for their first 3 days and I was going to suggest they spend the evenings at Downtown Disney area for dinner and shopping.

Will they be able to eat at any of the restaurants in DTD, Pleasure Island and West End or will they need a ticket to get in? I know they can get into the Marketplace without a ticket, but I am not familiar with PI or West End.

Also, any suggestions on where they should eat? It will be a large party of 12.

Thanks in advance!

The restaurants at DTD are open to everyone. The Markete Place and West Side have no admissions, unless you are going to specific revenues(Disney Quest, Cirqu du Solei, movies, etc...). Pleasure Island used to have an admission charge, but over the summer that became an ungated area too. You only have to pay admission if you choose to enter the clubs.
So no, there will be no ticket needed to eat in the restuarants in DTD. The one exception I can think of to this would be the Cheesecake Factory restaurant which is located inside Disney Quest. Admission to DQ would be needed to eat there.
