Nothing has been said about regular tickets going up, but I bought mine last night just in case. In the past, I thought there had been a few days warning that prices were about to increase. The AP increases came on so precipitously that I was worried the same thing could happen with tickets as well.
I think I'm going to buy my regular tickets today just in case of a sudden unannounced price increase. We already have Halloween party tickets, and we're still trying to decide on 2 or 3 day regular tickets. We won't be using a regular ticket on the day of the party.
I bought 5 day park hoppers last week for our trip in November. The plan is to use a early entry and then upgrade to AP. Now, I wish I had just gone ahead and bought the APs last week, that's going to cost another $250 for the upgrade that I wasn't expecting.
I'm going to start watching this thread. The OC article did predict increases for regular day passes in November. That is a little out of the ordinary as they usually announce the increase in the new year and you can purchase up until the new prices come into effect, some time around the middle of the year if memory serves.
I was hoping to wait to buy my passes until 2016 when Dapper Day prices are released but that might not be a possibility now.
