Are tickers not working in signatures?

I can't find any info on this that's later than 2018. Are distickers.com vacation countdowns not working or not allowed anymore? I tried all four formats pasted into my signature and none of them show up, it's just errors.

edit: I figured it out. Tickers do work, it's specifically distickers.com that does not. Maybe the FAQ should be updated?

There are several threads about the problem. It has to do with the distickers SSL setup being wrong.
