Are they worth it?

I'm trying to figure out all of our ressies, but I'm not sure what to do with a couple of them that we have not been to yet. Here's my questions:

Ohana for supper? We have been there for breakfast, it is a no-miss for us, but never for supper. We have an ADR and I've looked at the menu, is it engaging for kids?

Whispering Canyon Cafe? We are staying at the WL, but have never eaten at WCC, we have ADR's for breakfast and for supper, which one is best?

Mickey's BBQ? I have this reserved as well. I'm not sure if it is worth 2 TS on our DDP. We love going out to FW, but have never done this before. I understand the characters don't come around to the tables, but are kids involved in it at all? Is the food that good?

Crystal Palace? We have a 3:30 ADR, is that considered lunch or supper? Lunch I'm guessing??

Any wisdom would be great!!!!

Ohana for supper - This one has been difficult to get lately, so it must be pretty good.

Whispering Canyon Cafe - Had this for dinner. Good food, entertaining. My son loved the stick horse races and asking for ketchup a lot.

Mickey's BBQ - Was not worth it IMO. The characters do walk around, but it is a free for all, not to your table. It can get ugly sometimes. And the food is just okay. If you are wanting one of the dinner shows I have heard the best things about Hoop de Doo and it's food

Crystal Palace - I would try for Breakfast before the park opens. It's nice to get in early and be the first person on a ride.

We love O'hana for dinner! There is plenty of good food and the Poly is beautiful. They do have some kids dancing/entertainment, but we have never participated in that.

I believe that 3:30PM is still lunch at Crystal Palace. Last June we did a 3:00PM on our arrival day and I recall it being lunch time. My daughter loves all the Pooh characters and I think the food is very good with some interesting salad choices. I've never done dinner there, only lunches, so I don't know how different the two menus are.

We've never done WCC or Mickey's BBQ so I can't comment on those.

We love Ohana and WCC for dinner.

WCC is my husband's favorite, he loves the food and the antics of the servers. They will definiately get the kids involved.

Ohana for dinner is pretty good. We enjoyed it last summer, and have a ressie this summer there.

Whispering Canyon anytime for us is a big fat NO! Didn't enjoy the food and the service was horrible. And it wasn't even a matter of the waitress being in character; she just didn't serve us at all!

Not sure about the other one.

We were looking into going to WCC but it looks way too rowdy! We wont be visiting there.

I too love WCC & 'Ohana! We didn't make our 'Ohana ADR last trip & I was so bummed! The entertainment at 'Ohana is a lot of fun & the food is outstanding. For WCC, I've only eaten lunch there, but it was delicious both times. Personally, I prefer the dinner menu over the breakfast menu, but you can't go wrong w/ either. Which is a better fit for your schedule? I'd keep CP b/c their lunch is always a nice mid-day break from the MK crowds. Mickey's BBQ wouldn't really be a good fit for us, but you'll have a good time if your kids like to dance. I might be able to entice DH there w/ the promise of beer and/or wine, but we're not really country music fans. However, the kids in my family would have fun b/c they love to dance.

We have been to Whispering Canyon Cafe twice and thought it was awful...food and service. The first time we figured it was just an off night so tried it again on our next trip and I think it was even worse.
We've only done Crystal Palace for breakfast and love it....it's a must do for us every trip.
We have 'Ohana booked for our upcoming trip and it will be our first time there. Everyone seems to love it so we're really excited about it.
Never did the BBQ so can't comment.

Thanks for all of our input!!! This helps me in making our choices - I think we're going to drop Mickey's BBQ, we don't like country music, the kids like to dance, but probably only our youngest would, we probably would get more out of two table services w/o it. Just removing that takes care of the Ohana Dinner and CP lunch!

WCC - I'm going to check all ears re: menu choices. My kids are playful, the rowdy part doesn't bother me - we might just take advantage of it because that is the time of day we will probably go back to the resort anyway?!? I don't know....... I will drop the breakfast, honestly, my kids play hard at night and mornings are more difficult.

Never tried WCC or MBYBBQ. I have heard mixed reviews about WCC, but my brother tried it last summer and loved it. I have also talked to people who love the BBQ because the characters are there and interact/dance with the kids, but I would never try it for several reasons. It's outside and hot-I want to sit in A/C and enjoy my meal. I don't want my kids fighting to get close to the characters, then getting disappointed when aggressive kids won't give them a chance. They supposedly have the same delicious food there as HDDR, which is inside and lots of fun!

We only ate at CP for breakfast and loved it. We loved the convenience of leaving and touring the park right away!

That is why I don't think we would like BBQ.

We are low-carb people, so the meat portion of Ohana breakfast was perfect for us. Ohana breakfast suited all of us well. We have scheduled it for sure. I think we would also like the dinner. Our son is a little frightened by flames in a restaurant - that is my only hesitation at this point.

Ohana for supper? This is a "no-miss" for us! We've never done breakfast there. We love the theming of the Poly, hanging out at the Tambu Lounge, the food, the kid's interactions and the entertainment, the whole thing. The good thing about this place is that if you want to be in the middle of the "action" you can try to get in the main room, right on the aisle (now, you'll have to wait for that, I'm sure) or if you want to get away from the noise and action, you can request to be seated away from the fire pit.

Whispering Canyon Cafe? We've done this once. The festivities and "antics" were fun, the food was good, and the activities were hilarious, but I think it's a "once and done" place for us. My problem was that the dinner service took so long.

Mickey's BBQ? Never done this one, but I've heard it was pretty good.
Crystal Palace? I've had two reservations for CP and cancelled them both. Pooh and friends don't have the draw for us that they may have to families with younger kids. We're not huge character dining fans, so I might be biased. We also go for the family style dinners instead of buffets.

Our table was far enough away that we couldn't see any flames/fire pit. My demented kids complained about it; they wanted to see all the action, and in their opinion nothing is cooler than a huge flame!

My dd would love the flames, but my ds would not - I'll just ask if we can not sit so close to it - even if it takes longer to be seated.
