Hi there

When we were last at WDW MK (our first ever visit) big thunder mountain was shut down. Is this open or has it been shut down for good?

also the swiss family tree house are you still able to go in this?

Another couple of questions:
The train ride (which i never got to go on as forgot all about) does that take you around the whole of MK or just part of it?

where is the best and cheapest place to get a disney watch while at wdw?

Where to get one of these dole whips i here lots of about and what excatly is it?

oh and last question which is important how do i make a countdown/signature thing for my up coming trip?

Thanks to those who answer my questions.

I can answer a few questions.

Yes, Big Thunder Mountain is still in Operation, it must have been closed due to maintanance.

The best place to buy a watch (at least a "character" watch) is at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace area.

A Dole Whip might just be the best food at the parks!!! You can only find them one place thought. It is located in Adventure land around the corner from Pirates of the Carribean (I think :earboy2: ). Ask a CM if you can't find it.

Hope this Helps..

hi
big thunder mountain is open unless it's broke or shut for repair. the swiss family tree house is still open but i think it has a different name to it but it is open!the train goes all around the m.k.not sure about watches maybe someone else can answer that one.not sure about dole whips eithier and i'm not sure about count down timers. hope i could help a little have fun planning!!

I think that is the name of the stand where you will find the Dole whips :goodvibes , it is located very close to the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse in Adventureland. Those are my favorite at MK.

You can go to: TickerFactory.com :)

The train goes around the whole outer boundary of the park. The treehouse is still open.

Actually the name of the Dole Whip stand is Aloha Isle. It's in Adventureland near Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

The cheapest place to buy a disney watch is at the Character Premier/Character Warehouse outlet. If you're renting a car, there are 4 locations you can visit and get discounted Disney items.

If you don't have a car, then World of Disney at Downtown Disney is one place, another is in MK at the jeweler's store on Main St. Another place to buy watches is at MGM Studios - it's on sunset blvd, on the right hand side as you're walking towards ToT.

Dole whips are like a soft serve sorbet (don't know if it contains dairy) made out of pineapple juice. You can also get it as a float with juice as the liquid. I wasn't prepared for what it was, thought the actual whip was a drink. But it was GOOOOOD!

The Aloha Isle stand is in Adventureland just past the entrance to the Swiss family treehouse. As you pass the treehouse look to your right for the stand. It is not a very big place and easily missed if you are not looking.

The train does go all the way around but you don't have to stay on for the whole trip. You can get on at the Main Street station, Frontierland, or Toon Town and get off at whatever stop you want. At the end of the day, if you don't feel up to walking all the way to the front to exit, you can get on the train in Frontierland or Toon Town and get off at Main Street. One note the train does not run after dark.
