Are these slippers or shoes?

So I've been reveling in the comfort of my shearling slippers and thought maybe I should get some Uggs so I can wear them everywhere. I found these, but I'm not sure if they're shoes or slippers.

Ugg calls them slippers with an outside sole.

I'm on my second pair and love love love them.

You probably can wear them outside, but the fur on the outside just screams slippers to me.

Shoes & the most comfortable you will ever wear. I bought a pair this year & my MIL tried them on & now they are hers.

She has planter fasciitis & these Uggs have cured her...or I should say she is pain free. The only problem is she lives in Florida.

They run I size big so go down a size.

Yup, UGG slippers and I have them on right this very minute! I have been known to where them out to Dunkin Donuts in the morning even though they are slippers. They are very comfortable and warm. The sole is very thick. I highly recommend them.

So I could wear these out running errands? Obviously, they'r casual and I doubt I would wear them to dinner (well I guess that depends on wear we go ). My shearling slippers are from LL Bean and they are soooooooo comfy. If my feet hurt from walking around too much in my regular boots, the slippers actually make them feel better. This is a little more than I like to pay for shoes, but I might just have to get them. I've been looking for a good pair of slip-on shoes that I can wear to the bus stop in the morning and these would just be perfect and I can wear them other places too. That's if they are indeed shoes and not slippers. So most of you say shoes, right?

Well at the UGG outlet store they are sold as slippers. Also on Zappos the reviewers call them slippers and if you search for UGG slippers on Zappos, these ones come up. You could definitely wear them outside as they have an "outdoor" sole but I wouldn't wear them as my everyday shoe. I would only wear them outside for a quick run to Dunkin's or the corner store I guess.

It is called a slipper because it will slip on & off easily. The bottom is the sole of a boot.
