Are these designs legal?

I was at a school function with Radio Disney as the DJ. I had made shirts for my kiddos and had them wear them pre-trip a week or so ago. The DJ said he like the shirts but Disney was a trademark and it was illegal to reproduce them.

I talked with a few friends and they concluded as long as I didn't try to sell the shirts or my designs I would be okay.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

So long as they are for personal use they are fine. If you sold shirts or designs with Disney logos - then the trademark law goes into effect and that's when it'd be illegal.
