Are there usually different characters at CRT and Akershus?

I can't speak for CRT because we have never been there. But I don't think you are guaranteed any particular princess at either of the meals (except Cinderella for pictures at CRT). We have done Akershus twice. On our first trip 2 years ago, we had Belle at the entrance for pictures (both times), Mulan, Jasmine, Aurora, and Snow White. On our trip in December, we had Cinderella and Ariel instead of Mulan and Jasmine. (We really missed Mulan and Jasmine because they were our favorites at our first breakfast there, but we had great visits with them later in the day at their character meet and greets!)

If you miss one of your favorites, or even if you don't, be sure to meet them at their locations in Epcot and Magic Kingdom. You will get to spend a good deal more time with them at their character spots than you will at the meals (particularly the Princesses and Fairies in ToonTown at MK - they are awesome there!). That pretty much goes for any of the characters you meet at the meals, but if the lines are really really long in the parks, you don't have to wait unless you just want to. That's one of the reasons we do so many character breakfasts. We are guaranteed to meet them and get pictures/autographs with them at the meal. If we don't want to wait an hour to see someone in the park, we can just wave as we walk by and go hop on ride!
