Are there timeshares or villas with shuttles?

My DMIL has a timeshare that she can trade for a week in Orlando. I'm wondering if there are timeshare condos with shuttles to the parks. We always rent a car when we go to the parks anyway, but we don't want to have to get two cars if we go with her. We are early risers, early to the parks. She gets up at noon sometimes! If we are going to try going with her, we'll need to make sure she has transportation to the parks. I know staying onsite would be the best, but if we go with her, she wants to use her timeshare. I guess i can't pass up a free place to stay at disney, but I want to make the experience good fro everyone! LEt me know if you know of any timeshare places that offer a shuttle close to Disney! Thanks!

If her timeshare trades through II, maybe she can get lucky and get a Disney resort and you will have no problems. The only resort that I know for sure has a shuttle is Bonnet Creek, but there are many others. However, the service is very limited. 3 or 4 pick ups/drop offs each morning and evening.

Is II Interval International? They do Disney trades? I'm sure that ISN'T the one she has! ;) I'll have to ask. I think hers might be RCI, but I'm not really sure. Even if they have limited service, it should work. As long as she can get a ride to the parks, we will have the car and we can get her back tot he timeshare. It is really just a matter of her waking up MUCH later than we do in the morning and there is no way we'll be waiting around to get to the parks at noon! :scared1:

You might find a resort that has a shuttle, but it will most likely cost her $10 to take the shuttle. It won't be flexible, and it may stop at other communities before dropping at WDW. It took us an hour to get from MK to our resort one evening.

If you stay close to WDW, she can probably take a cab for $20 one way or $40ish per day... about the same as a rental.

Bonnet Creek trades in RCI and their shuttle is free, but you do have to reserve your spot the night before.

This is a very hard trade as it is a nice new resort and is quite close to Disney. You may be able to get since they have just opened up a new section, so there may be a bulk bank soon.

Does she have a strong trader? Orlando in general is an easy trade to get, just some of the resorts are tougher to get than others.

Sheraton Vistana Resort is on both RCI and II - nice resort.

it has a shuttle but Lisa BC is correct they charge timeshares owners for using it.

I don't think it was $10 but $7.50 - and I don't think it makes other stops (could be big time wrong here). this is the charge per person per day.

the Marriott's have a shuttle - but there is expensive - $12.50 per person per day.

I don't know -- I'm guessing no! I think her actual "property' is some ski resort in the summer! :confused3 I don't know that much about timeshares, but I'm pretty sure that isn't a desirable week. Maybe if she has weeks banked, you can use more than one or something? I'll have to look into it more. Thanks for the info! Maybe if we tell her the shuttles cost so much, she'll be more inspired to wake up and go to the parks with us!

Vacation Villa at Parkway also have shuttles - I think these go to different areas. I also think the charge was less than $10 per day per person - but don't really remember.
