Are there sweepers at the 5k?

You know that when you signed up you agreed to a 15 minute pace or a 46:30 5k. (note the website has a 16 minute pace (49:36 race). Usually the course is open for an hour and change - maybe a little longer (about a 20 minute pace). At any time if you are on the tail of the run you may get escorted to the front of the park if you are just not making a reasonable pace. I have not seen it or heard of it in the 5k but looking at the course for this year's 5k it would not surprize me to see the little loop to the fornt gates cut off if you are not carrying at least a 20 minute pace. It's not about fariness - its more about clearing the race mess and opening the park at 9 am.

Oh, yes. I wasn't thinking about those sweepers. I just kept hearing about them for the half and full and was wondering. I'm not worried about them for us, just wondering how it all worked.
