Are there restaurants you want to try but can't seem to get yourself there?

We've been going to WDW for years and even though every trip we say we are going to Ohana's and Liberty Tree Tavern, we've never been to either of the restaurants. Are there any restaurants you want to try but never get to?

Yes! Citricos, the Plaza in MK, San Angel Inn, Teppanyaki...most of it has to do with either cost, lack of time because we hit all our "favorites" and DH's not interested in some. I'm hoping on the next 2 trips (October 04 and July 05) that we get to Citricos (just me and DH), the Plaza and hopefully one of the Epcot ones. I always want to eat at San Angel Inn but DH is like "Mexican food is Mexican food. We can get it anywhere." I don't know if I agree as I've heard great things about San Angel Inn.

Sorry I rambled...I just always find myself thinking the same thing you originally posted! :)

I agree with your DH regarding San Angel Inn. We've been there twice now, recently, and while the atmosphere is nice, you can get the atmoshpere just by walking around inside. I get much better food at the restaurants that are closer to home.

We wanted to try Boma's last trip, never got over there.
This trip I don't think we are going to get over there either!

Oh well, there is always next time ;)

but the character buffets always won...Biergareten (sp?), and the Mexican counter service always get booted.... There are several others I can't think of now. Can you tell I love to eat? I would love to work my way through all the WDW eateries & back (like Forever42), but can't do that in 11 days :( , so I just stick with our faves :D (CM, Lotus Blossom, AS food court :earseek:,etc) Call me nuts, but I crave Steak N Shake every time I go to FL. Thank goodness there's one by my co's main office (visit once/year)!

the yachtsman steakhouse. every trip we toss it around and never have been there yet. maybe august.........

We always go to the same places over and over as well! I'd like to try Boma - we've heard so many good things about it. We also haven't tried the Brown Derby or Cinderella's Royal Table - they're all on my list for this year!

Le Cellier & San Angel Inn... I swear though, we will get there this year :teeth:

I keep meaning to go to the Rose and Crown and Le Cellier but I love Akershus and Marrakesh so much I keep cancelling my PS a few hours before and head over to my favorites. We had a PS for the Coral reef on my first trip to WDW. I have been 8 times now and still haven't got there!

O'hana has been on the list for two trips now and we still haven't gotten there. Hopefully this trip in 1 week!

Oh my gosh, dozens! I'm not interested in trying different cuisines-we've got heaps of unbelievable restaurants right around the corner...but those special DISNEY type places...like the one at WL...is it Whispering Canyon? The one with the ketchup? SO is too chicken to go there, I think.;)

Also, HDD. Maybe even a character meal..we might have to wait to have children so we can hide behind them before we go to one of those, though.;) Maybe, we can rent the kids.:p

OH for sure! Been wanting to try Citrico's, 1900 PK Fare's Cinderella Dinner (everytime we make a PS we can never seem to keep it for one reason or another there!) and Le Cellier.

We also find ourselves at the same restaurants almost everytime we go!! Gullivers, Palios, Yacht Club Galley, Beaches & Cream, Garden Grille, the Plaza, CRT's (when we can get a PS of course-only had to cancel that once), O'Hana's & Artist Point. I think it's come down to what they have for dd:tongue:

Am finally trying Le Cellier this 4th of July! Have always wanted to try Victoria & Albert's and almost did last year but then changed my mind. Maybe next trip.

Narcooses goes on our list about every time, and we've yet to make it there.

The Flying Fish, Trails End, and the Brown Derby.

Ohana's and San Angel Inn. We just never seem to have the time! Maybe in January when it is just me and my mom for the 1/2 marathon.

Oh, yes! We have a long list! Let's see: Ohana, Le Cellier, Citrico's, 1900 Park Fair, Jiko, Whispering Canyon, Trails End for lunch or dinner (we have been for breakfast twice!)

I could go on and on!! It seems like we've eaten at alot of places, but then when I make my list up, we've missed quite a few too!

Well I really want to try something new. I did a thread once about being a restraunt creature of habit. It seems after I make all the ps, they are always the same ones. Next time I would like dh and I just to go to either citricos, palio or fresh. With the 3 ds as a family I would like to try trails end for breakfast or lunch, only dh and I have been there for dinner and maybe 1900 park fare. O.K. I will use the word buffet and they willl come, sorry it wont be for cinderella. As another poster said her son said and mine will say the same "we don't need no stinking princesses.!" O.K. my 3 ds, but you sure will need a nice buffet to stop your disney hunger and munchies.

My thoughts exactly. We have yet to try Chefs de France but will for lunch next time, and I have always wanted to go to Narcoosee's and we haven't made it there yet either. Probably because I know that I will want the surf and turf and I feel a little guilty ordering a $49. entree. I know a lot of people rate Citricos higher, but the menu just doesn't appeal to me. I guess I'm just not an adventurous diner.
