Are there really allergy friendly dogs?

Not sure if you are looking for a large or small dog. However, My husband has really bad allergies. He cannot be around a cat. We have 2 poodles. They do not shed, and are very loving.

every one i've met has been intelligent, good with kids, & had a great temperment. i really don't care for the "clipped look" ~ but that's just cos i think they're naturally beautiful

btw, we don't have a poodle only cos our golden won our hearts , but would seriously consider the breed if we got another (no one allergic in our house obviously )

I had friends (2 sisters) that were allergic and had a schnoodle. He was a poodle/schnauzer mix. He was supposedly low shedding.

My SIL is really allergic and has had wonderful luck with Italian Greyhounds. She has two and no allergies. I'm not crazy about the dogs as they are both really freaky-they won't even 'go' outside. Weird dogs! Could be my SIL!!! lol!!
