Are there parental controls for ipod touch?

I just happened upon a story my DD was reading on her ipod touch and talk about trash...it was x-rated! I gather it is a site where it looks like mostly teens write stories and most were trash (watt pad). Are there controls like we have on the PC for the touches as well??? to keep certain sites unavailable to kids. She learned about this site from our 11 year old neighbor.

I don't know how you do it but I know it can be done because my friend just took her son's ipod touch to the Apple store and they locked it down for her. He can basically access "school approved" sites and no im'ing or skype or youtube.
I don't know how strongly it will protect against but you never know.

Under Settings you can enable a restrictions passcode.

Haven't used it since we're 2 adults.

However, it's more general such as

Safari, Youtube, Itunes, Installing Apps.

I believe the parent would have to be more involved to allow detailed access under
these groups. It's password restricted once you enable it.

DH has the settings for the router in our house blocking anything "bad" from all the wireless items used by the kids. Dd is 15, she could probably figure out how to undo it, otherwise! It's nice because he has the time restraints on it, too, so she can't use ipod or laptop for the internet after 9pm during the week.
