Are there more hurricanes predicted/ on their way??

We are traveling to Florida from Europe on the 8th of October, could anyone fill me in on potential storms?? As we are coming from so far away I am hoping for good weather, but not only for myself but all the folks so severly affected. Sorry to hear about the damage to your home safetymom!!!
What is brewing over there?? I don't have the "Weather Channel" !

I'm sure someone will point you to some on-line sites.
Just be aware that none of them can really tell you what the weather will be on October 8--all you'll probably see are what seems to be (or not be) developing in the Atlantic. And which way it seems to be (or not be) heading.
Then the next time you look at that site, it'll probably be completely different than what you saw the day before..

Here are some web-sites to look at to find out about the weather in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans dealing with tropical depressions, storms, and hurricanes:

There are others, but I use these two the most.
