Are there lockers at Animal Kingdom?

So we are arriving on our flight really early in the day and going straight to Animal Kingdom. I know our room won't be ready, and I want to store my carry-on bag. It's just a large shoulder bag, not a rolling suitcase or anything, but it will have my step-daughters nebulizer in it, our ipad, my kindle and meds. I don't know if I will feel comfortable leaving that at the hotel with the luggage storage until our room is ready, so was hoping there is a locker at Animal Kingdom...

Yes, there are some near Kali River Rapids. Not sure how long you can use them for, but they're there.

Disney World Lockers


Lockers can be a lifesaver. They're the perfect place for storing rain gear, jackets, souvenirs, etc.

At the four Theme Parks, the policy is:

• Large Locker: $10.00 per day plus a $5.00 key deposit which is refunded when the key is returned.
• Small Locker: $8.00 per day plus a $5.00 key deposit which is refunded when the key is returned.
• Key must be turned in within an hour of the park closing.
• Key operated lockers can be accessed as often as you like.

When visiting more than one theme park on the same day:

• Return the key for the $5.00 deposit and get a receipt.
• Take the receipt to the next theme park.
• Present the receipt, pay the $5.00 key deposit and you'll have a locker for the remainder of the day.

• Inside the park on the right side just before you go under the train station
  • Large locker - 17"H x 12"W x 16" Deep

Epcot -

• To the right of the base of Spaceship Earth, near the restrooms
  • Small locker - 11"H x 9"W x 16" Deep
  • Large Locker - 17"H x 12"W x 22" Deep
• International Gateway Stroller rental
  • Small locker - 11"H x 9"W x 16" Deep
• Behind Bus Information booth
  • Luggage lockers - 23"H x 16"W x 29" Deep (Coin operated - $1.00 - 4 quarters)

Disney's Hollywood Studios -

• Rent at Crossroads of the World - Lockers located next to Oscar's Super Service
  • Small locker - 11"H x 9"W x 16" Deep
  • Large locker - 17"H x 12"W x 22" Deep
• Outside the park by Bus Information booth
  • Extra-small locker- 4"H x 3"W x 5" Deep (Coin operated - $0.50)
  • Large locker - 17"H x 12"W x 22" Deep (Coin operated - $1.00 - 4 quarters)

Disney's Animal Kingdom -

• Expedition Storage lockers by Guest Services inside the park
  • Small 11"H x 9"W x 16" Deep
  • Large 17"H x 9"W x 16" Deep
• Outside Main Entrance near the restrooms to the right of the turnstiles (coin-operated)
  • Small locker - 11"H x 9"W x 16" Deep
  • Large locker - 17"H x 9"W x 16" Deep
  • Extra-large locker - 17"H x 12"W x 16" Deep

There are Luggage Lockers at Epcot. The Epcot luggage lockers are located behind the bus information booth. These are coin operated and require 4 quarters each time they're used. The dimensions are: 23"H x 16"W x 29" Deep.

Pricing at the Water Parks:

Blizzard Beach

• $8.00 rental per day for Small: 11"H x 9"W x 16" Deep plus a $5.00 key deposit which is refunded when the key is returned
• $10.00 rental per day for Large: 17"H x 9"W x 16" Deep plus a $5.00 key deposit which is refunded when the key is returned

Typhoon Lagoon

• $8.00 rental per day for Small: 12"H x 12" W x 16" Deep plus a $5.00 key deposit which is refunded when the key is returned

Worth noting, to those curious, only HS and Epcot main entrance have lockers OUTSIDE of bag check. In case that is important. We prefer to avoid the hassle of taking our plane bags through bag check so we only go to HS or Epcot on days we have them (our departure day). We leave our carry on bags with bag services, even our electronics. They are 100% trustworthy in my mind.

You'll want to use the lockers at the front of the Park-the Kali lockers are intended for short-term use for Kali riders.

I've left a full set of luggage with bag services at WDW without any trouble - for myself, though, I always put locks on my bags if I'm planning to do that. Bag locks won't keep serious thieves out, but they'll stop casual theft by making any tampering really obvious. Iirc the bag check gives you a claim ticket, so I wasn't too worried about anyone walking off with the whole bag.

Are they also outside bag check? For some reason I thought that you had to go through bag check (not ticketing gate but bag check)

They do and they will lock up any valuables in the "cage".

If you'll be stopping at your hotel before going on to the park, I would buy a small luggage lock for my bag if I was worried, and leave it with bell services.

It is also worth noting that if you are park hopping, your locker rental will follow you. Just keep your receipt, so if you go to AK in the morning, you can get a locker in MK in the afternoon.
