Are there limits on your meal choice ?

Are there limits to the entrees you order at certain restaurants while on the dining plan? Is there a place that I can find this out ? Thanks !

There a few, if any, limitations for your entree and dessert.
Disney made this possible by totaly "DUmbing Down" the menu's, in my opinion!

Unfortunately the answer is NO!

This has meant that the high-end foods are no longer available. I would love to see Disney do away with the Dining Plan entirely, other than something similar to the Deluxe Plan, and let the chef's use thir imaginations.

I guess what I mean is , can I order anything I want off of the menu for TS restaurants that are on the dining plan. Some of the entrees are very expensive , for example at the Chefs de France they have the "French Menu " which is $32.95 per person or the "Tenderloin of Beef" which is $31. 95 per person, are items like these excluded ? Some of the restaurants have these expensive items on them , is there a listing of what is excluded ? Thanks for all of your help !!!

No. These items should be included. I think what the PP's above you are saying is that, before the DP came around, the menus were more exciting. Now many TS places have cut things from the menus so as not to "lose" money from the DP. One thing I personally noticed, was that the first year the mushroom filet at LeCellier was a huge entree. The second year it was literally about half the size. The DP(esp the "free" DP) used to be agood thing for us guests who could never afford to eat TS every night. Now, after 3 years of "been there, done that" we won't be doing the DP. The menus are boring now at some places and the kids suffer greatly from the menu changes. Also, those who used to do TS all the time don't get to pick from the wonderful variety the menus offered before the DP.

I ramble...but YES, pretty much anything you see on the menus is up for grabs on the DP.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. We have never done the DP before , this will be the first time for myself, DH and DS-15, they are both big eaters so we will see if it pays off for us. I was just checking out the different menus to make sure that there are things that we all like. My husband loves fillet of beef and that is always one of the most expensive entrees on a menu.
