Are there extra closing costs for 2 AKV contracts vice 1?

We just gave the go-ahead for one AKV contract for 185 points - so we finally pulled the trigger after 2 years of research and going back and forth.
I just saw in another post where the member was able to get a 150 point and 25 point contract at the same time. Does anyone know if you have to pay more closing costs for splitting the purchase into 2 contracts/transactions or is it the same as with 1 single contract?

If you do an initial of 160 and an add of 25, there are no closing costs on adds. So, you'll pay the closing on the 160 initial and they will just do a purchase add for the 25 points.

Do you think there are any signifigant advantages to splitting the contract (160 & 25 vice 185)?

They only reason is consideration of future resale, e.g., small contracts such as 25 or 50 can sometimes be easier to sell than 185.

Hi! I'm the one who bought 160 and 25. No extra closing costs.

I don't forsee selling off either contract, but it seemed sensible to me to go ahead and break up the points just in case.

If you do this, make sure they give you the double developer points for both contracts. Technically, you are only supposed to get them for contracts 100 points and higher, but they made an exception for me because I was buying it alongside a larger contract.

Good luck!
