Are there discounts in December?

We are looking to go from December 15th to the 18th and was planning to stay on property. I normally book well ahead of time, but I have been waiting to see if they have a special for the hotels in December. Do they have specials for that time frame? What do others normally do? Does everyone just book now and then rebook once the specials are out? Thanks for any advice as this is our first time to DisneyLand.

Since that can be a very busy time of year I would book now if and call and apply the discount if a better rate comes out. We are going during the same time frame and I've had my room booked since April.

With the expansion of DCA, seems there are fewer offers this year.
Your best bet for an onsite hotel discount is to take a senior with you. They get the best discounts year round.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Unfortunately, take a senior is not something we can do. I will call and book the room and then cancel or change if a discount comes up. I don't want to end up with no room at all for that time frame.

The wife booked the week of christmas at DLH tonight. The best price she could find was with disney travel. Gotta Love It....

I was just thinking of this last night, but has anyone ever used the Costco travel to get the perks and then charged it to their Disney Visa to get those perks as well? Basically, can you get perks from both programs?
