Are there connecting rooms at SOG?

We have stayed at SOG before and love it. Next year we are sponsoring our close friends so they can come and stay with us. Does anyone know if SOG has any connecting rooms? It would be really nice to be able to open up the doors and visit. Also, we would prefer to stay in the new section, like we did last year. Do you know if SOG takes special requests when we make our reservations? I have always booked online and there isn't anywhere to request anything. We have never asked before and always took whatever room they gave to us. Any infomation would be appreciated.

SOG does have connecting rooms. MIL/FIL sponsored us last year and we had connecting rooms.

I cannot answer your other question because we didn't request old or new. I'm pretty sure we were in the older section, but it was very nice, albeit a LONG walk to the lobby (we were at the very, very end).

Yes you can make requests just like other resorts, just don't be disappointed if they are not able to honor them. Make the request asap then call a few days before your trip to ask again.
