are there coin presses on the Magic or in the Port?

hi my kids have collected the pennies from WDW and other vacation spots-does the Magic have the coin press machines? thanks

My best recollection (from what I've seen in person and here in the boards) the answer is NO.

I don't know about the cruise but i'm sure there's one on castaway cay.

tracie - where is the one on Castaway Cay? I've never seen it.

When we first cruised on the Magic back in 1999 (doing a 4 day) they had them right outside of Trasure Ketch. Haven't seen them since on either the Magic or the Wonder.

I'm sure i've read on the boards or in passporter or somewhere that there is one on castaway cay as i'd put a note in my plans to take some change ashore for them, maybe i'm wrong.

My children also collect these and we were on the May 1st Eastern, and I didn't see any. When we were on the Wonder a couple years ago, I don't remember seeing any either.

I know that part of the reasoning for taking them out is that it is supposed to be a cash free enviroment, but isn't there a change machine in the Laundry room? I know we would use the pressed coins if they still had them.

I guess I'm really lucky ...I have pressed coins from both the Magic and Wonder! Of course I got them when the ships first sailed and for some reason asked on later cruises and was told that they weren't popular and the machines were removed.

Sorry guys ... I have no intention of parting with them.
