No. There is no need as everything is next to each other. They have trams that run from the parking structure to the parks.

The city of Anaheim and the local hotels also run various forms of transportation in the area so that guests can get to/from the various hotels.

Unless it has changed there is one thing to be aware of if you are using the buses from your offsite hotel. The last time I was there (2005) there were certain times of the day when the buses did not run at all. Back then it was, if I remember correctly, between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. I had forgotten that little bit of information and one of the days when I found myself either extremely tired or mildly ill, (don't remember which) I wanted to return to my hotel for a little rest time. Guess what? No buses. I stayed only about a half a mile away so I decided to walk. Well, the temperature that day had hit a record high for that time of year. It was 106 degrees. A main contributor to my fatigue, I think.

By the time I got back to my room I was literally exhausted. Moral of the story...plan around the buses at DL.

Seeing as you are a WDW vet and you have to take buses/monorails/boats to the parks there, I just have to say that the transportation at DLR is WAY different.

You can walk from all of the onsite hotels to the parks. You can walk from about a dozen offsite hotels to the parks (some are closer than some of the onsite). It takes about 2 minutes to walk from DL park to DCA park, and about 1 minute to walk from one of those parks to Downtown Disney. Everything is so compact that the main mode of transportation is walking.

As a fellow WDW vet, let me describe it to you like this: The walk between DL and DCA is shorter than walking from where the bus lets you off to the park gate at most of the WDW parks. The walk from both parks to DTD is about the same as walking from where the bus would let you off at most WDW parks to the park gate.

quick question, are there any Disney buses that run at Disneyland?

We've recently seen Disney buses coming in from the Toy Story lot south on Harbor Blvd. They drop off where the Timon tram used to go, back when there was a Timon parking lot.
