Are there any Wii's out there? Update post #23!

Ugh! I finally convinced my husband that we could financially swing a Wii for our little guys' Christmas and now I can't seem to find one in stock anywhere.

Anyone know of any place with Wii's out there? Even a gently used one would be fine.

Awww----I got one about 6 weeks ago at Toys R Us here in Oakville. I did hear that Costco had some too as few weeks back?? Good luck-I hope you can find one.

Do you have Craigslist? You might check there for one. In Missouri, a store called Game Stop get's regular shipments. They had about 30 in there today. Good luck! Even though not from Canada, thought it may help!

I have been told that the Roger's stores can order them and get them in about 2 days .

Also Shoppers Drug Mart sells them. Not sure if many people think to buy them there. I know they have had deals where you can use optimum points to get $200 off the Wii.

my mom has a friend that has been looking for 2 of them (one for each set of grand kids) and she can't find them anywhere. She was in the Walmart the other day in Fredericton NB looking and the man behind the counter told her that they can't keep them in. He also told her that people are coming in when they get a shipment and buying 10 at a time and they are selling them on kijiji for a crazy price. I think there should be a limit on how many you can buy. It's not fair

Try the best buy website, you can order them online and they will ship it to the closest store for no charge.

I had the same problem, and finally found a used one on kijiji. The one I bought came with 4 games (including Mario Kart) and the Mario Kart wheel. I paid $400. for ours and if I had bought everything separately it would have been over $600. The 4 games are exactly the ones my son would want, so that worked out perfectly.

consolewatch.com ... they'll even email you when it comes in stock at one of their watched sites. You can just leave your PC on the site and it refreshes itself and it will beep when a stock change occurs.

We actually picked ours up at the Super Store. Same price as the rest of the places. I just called each place every day to see if there was a shipment in. I was a pain, but i am sure I am not the only one. Good Luck

I tried Futureshop every Friday (that's when their shipment arrives here) for a few weeks. Someone heard me ask if there were any left (no) and whispered to me that they had just come from HMV and there were plenty there.cool1: . They had some in stock and also get 20-30 every Saturday. I don't think alot of people think of going there. It was the same price as Supertore and Futureshop ($269.00). Good luck!!

The Source by Circuit City has a mario bundle for some bucks, but they're good games, not some junk you'd never use. I get their emails and just heard this one recently.

Keep an eye on dell.ca and thesource.ca. They get them in quite often but they sell out with a day or two. I have seen Wii's on both of those sites even just last week. Sometimes the stores have them put away and only give them to you if you ask. I went to Walmart last week, they had signs up saying due to manufacturer limitations they had no Wii's but I saw a lady with one and asked the sales clerk and he told me they had three in stock! So I lucked out - good thing I saw the lady with one or I wouldn't have asked. Now I'm trying to find Wii Fit!
