The last trip we made in Oct., we found a nest of baby turtles making their way to the ocean but we just happened upon it. I don't think there was any organized activity for this but it has been a few years. Do you know if they have anything now?
I "think" the organised turtle stuff is in july/aug at vero. we were just there and they did have "turtle troup" for the kids, but I don't remember any turtle walks or anything like that. You could call/email the resort and ask them though.
Just got back yesterday from 9 days at Vero. Evening turtle tours start in late April and end atthe end of July. October isn't even in the egg laying/birthing season (ends in September).
We're booked at Vero in couple weeks. Even though it was a hurricane risky time and a hot time of year, we choose this time because it is prime time for hatching. I don't think you'll find any activity in October. Sorry.
Late October is my favorite time to go to VB though. Have a great time.
