Are there any part of the Disney Dream to get free WiFi?

We’re sailing on Disney Dream on 9/20. I thought I read something in the past there are some part of the ship that has free WiFi. Does anyone know?

What it is is there is a small 50MB package available (free) if you sign up the first night of the cruise. There's no special area on the ship that gets free wifi.

To clarify, the 50MB free package is per stateroom, and is good for the duration of the cruise, as long as you sign up on the first night. Although the free package is tied to the stateroom to activate, you don't have to be in the stateroom to use it: it can be used anywhere on the ship.

I haven't cruised since that starting doing it, and I have an Android so it wouldn't help me anyway, but I have seen that you can use Apple's iMessage app without logging into the paid internet. This would work anywhere.

Nope- baring the 50 mb free-

With ‘free’ notifications from mail/fb messenger etc I was able to make it almost 4 nights on the free package- only logging in to answer messages /refresh fb then log out.

I wish I’d bought the $20 for 100 mb then would’ve been able to send a few pics or had a few extra min but alas

Both my husband and I have gotten the free 50 MB each on every cruise while sharing the same stateroom. So have my boys in their stateroom.

If you're spending 4-5 figures on a cruise why not splurge and get a wifi package. For the price of 4 cocktails you can get decent wifi... I don't get ppl asking for 'free' stuff in a cruise where they spend thousand$... but what do I know.

If you're spending thousands of dollars on a cruise, why would you want to spend that precious M.V.T. (Mickey Vacation Time) constantly looking at your phone - The outside world can wait! You can (and we all do) spend your time at home tethered to the phone for free!

The writeup in the Navigator says "stateroom", but some people have reported that each individual in their room got it. YMMV

My wife and I each got 50 mb free this past weekend on Dream, we were in the same stateroom.

ETA - as well as on Fantasy last month, Wonder back in February and Magic in January.
