Are There ANY Pal Mickey Swaps Planned?

In an effort to continue with my summer Board cleaning (OK, OK, I am going to start my own "pre-trip" HOUSE cleaning tomorrow, I PROMISE! ) I am going to "unstick" the thread at the top of this board if I don't hear that there are Mickey Swaps being planned.

At the risk of sounding stupd- what is a Mickey swap and how does it work?

We have one planned for Sept/Oct and have started a seperate thread that continues to get burried each day.

donkeysleuth - Some of us here on the boards are going together on a purchase of a Pal Mickey for use on our vacations. We have cooradinated swapping him off as each of our trips end. Then the last person who uses Pal Mickey will be donating him to a designated place.

CRL- thanks for the info-checked out Pal Mickey on Disney website-looks cute-but no price on rentals or purchasing. Is the Mickey Swap closed or do you have room for another"pal"?

The cost of buying Pal Mickey is $60. And I think the rental price is $8 per day. We only have the 18th and 19th of October open. Otherwise our swap is full. Depending on when your dates are, their may be others interested in dates around yours and someone could set up another swap.

I thought I was down for babysiting pal mickey on the 18 of Sept and taking Mickey to the parks on the 19 of Sept?

Sorry Aryn, yes you are. That was a typo. I ment Oct and yet my fingers typed Sept.

Officially, our open dates are OCT 18 and 19.
