Are there any donuts at the Polynesian Resort

Can anyone tell me if there are any donuts (preferably with chocolate icing and sprinkles) in the concierge lounge or at Capt. Cooks? My 4yr old DS really enjoyed his morning donut in the YC concierge lounge every morning on our last trip. Not being a donut lover myself, I just never noticed whether there were any donuts at the Polynesian. I did however find the coffee.

Oh my gosh! This post is just toooo funny! I could have written it myself! In fact, I was thinking of asking the same thing this week!

Our last trip we stayed at the YC concierge and our very picky 7 yo DS got hooked on the chocolate frosted krispy kreme donuts and ate 3 or 4 of them for breakfast every morning!

In May we will be staying at the Polynesian concierge and the first thing DS asked was - "Do they have donuts??" Sure hope they do or we'll have to find them somewhere!

Hope someone has an answer to this IMPORTANT question!

When our two were little chocolate frosted sprinkle doughnuts would have been a real priority, too!

I wish I could definitively answer your question, but I can't say with certainty that Polynesian has doughnuts. I know there are cream cheese/fruit pastries, but I don't specifically recall about "doughnuts". I don't eat those little heart attacks on a plate and the kids have grown into the pastry/bagel mode.

I just don't recall ever seeing doughnuts at Polynesian. I do remember the Krispy Kremes at BC concierge though and we were in that hotel and Polynesian just last summer. I don't know why the BC fact would stick in my aging brain while I have no definitive recollection of our favorite concierge service! Go figure. . .

We were at Poly four weeks ago and there are definitely donuts at Captain Cook's, chocolate frosted but sorry didn't notice any sprinkles. They were delicious!

Captain Cook's had Krispy Kreme's "original" glazed last month. One of my DS loves those so I noticed. Concierge at the Poly did not in October but I wouldn't be surprised if they do now since Captain Cooks has them. Can't help with chocolate with sprinkles. They used to be my DDs favorite, too, but now that she has other tastes, I didn't even notice.

I am so glad to hear we'll be able to find those little heart attacks on a plate. (I got a chuckle out of that one Tess). Ds has asked this question sooo many times since we booked this trip. It appears to be the breakfast of choice unless we're doing a character breakfast. You've all made one little boy very happy. And we all know That a happy little boy means a happy mommy.

If it's really an issue for your child and you're staying concierge, why not e-mail the concierge staff and ask them to check it out for you. Maybe they can arrange a secret stash of chocolate sprinkles for your little one if they don't ordinarly have them. They could also let you know definitively whether or not Cook's has them.

In the event you receive a negative reply--then you could arrange to pick some up at a bakery on your way to the resort (e.g., Publix or Winn Dixie).
