Are there any discount codes for joining AAA?

Never joined AAA before, thinking about it for the room discount and my van is getting up there in miles so I guess the other AAA benefits couldn't hurt. Are there any discounts to join or any info a newbie could use about their program? Thanks,

i think each city has it's own club, but they're linked together. i know we've had different rates in the different areas we've lived in. is it possible to find the least expensive club and join that one? (doesn't sound likely....)

also, if you're just going to join solely for the room discount, just get a single membership--no need pay to have all drivers covered.

if you do join, get them to mail you the local maps. there's a GREAT inset in one of them (i think it's orlando vicinity south) that shows all the roads within WDW property. very helpful!

In Kentucky, when we joined online we saved $15.00. I wasn't expecting it, but along the process of entering my CC info, it said that we saved $15.00. A great surprise, but it had to be done online.

And if you are just buying it for the discounts get the regular AAA coverage where you get 5 milesof free towing. However, if you want it for the towing too get AAA plus as you get 100 free miles of towing. I love this option as it's saved us a few times!

Hubby and I rejoined AAA after a lapse of a few years. I looked on the website and there weren't any specials running at the time. So I drove down in person (not far) and told them we're re-joining, do you have any specials and they gave us a good discount, an even better one for signing up for 2yrs instead of one. It doesn't hurt to ask... and AAA has saved us a bunch on rooms alone.
